Will Camco Automatic Propane Changeover Regulator Work For Home Use

Question:
Will this gauge work on dual 100 lb tanks in residential setting? We live in the Virgin Islands and just went propane for our fridge and stove due to high energy costs on the island. What else do I need to order to hook this gauge up if it will work for our purposes?

Expert Reply:
If the 2 100 lb tanks you have match the attachment requirements of the Camco Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator part # CAM59005, you should be able to use it.
The inlets on the # CAM59005 have 1/4 inch inverted flare connections and the unit is rated for 160.000 BTUs an hour.
You will want to check with the authorities to make sure you can use propane tanks in this manner. They may have special requirements you need to follow.
