2005 Nissan maxi ma SE No existing rails or crossbars...bought a bike so need a bike rack and all other accessory to fit the the bike in to the roof of the car, please help

For your 2005 Maxima one of the nicer roof racks I recommend is the Rhino-Rack Vortex roof rack. This roof rack has aerodynamic aluminum crossbars that have rubberized Vortex strips in the top channel to help provide a quieter ride. This kit comes with the crossbars, legs with built-in locks that secure the roof rack to the roof of your vehicle, and custom clamps and pads to ensure a good fit for your Maxima. For this system you would need to order part # RRVA126B-2, part # RRRLKVA, and part # DK159.
The bike carrier I recommend is the Rhino-Rack MountainTrail Rooftop Bike, part # RBC035. This bike carrier is a fork-mount single bike carrier with universal hardware that can accommodate bike wheels up to 3 inches wide. The weight capacity for this bike carrier is 35 lbs.
If you should decide you want to go with a trunk-mount bike carrier on your Maxima I recommend the Thule GateWay Pro, part # TH45JV. This premium rack features 2 rubber straps instead of 6 straps like most other trunk-mount carriers, and features the patented OnKey system that locks both the rack and the bike to deter theft.
