Replacement Mounting Brackets and Hardware for Westin Sportsman Grille Guard on 2000 Chevy 2500

Question:

I recently bought a Westin sportsman grille guard and the gentleman I purchased it from did not have the top brackets only the bottom brackets that go on to the tow hooks I was just wondering what kind of brackets do I need for the top I am having trouble finding them and I also think it is missing the rubber piece that goes over the top of the Westin sportsman grill guard thank you. this was on a 2001 Chevy 2500 HD and I have a 2000 Chevy 2500 Silverado

The Westin Sportsman grille guard for a 2000 Chevy C/K 2500, # 40-0085, uses replacement hardware and bracket kit # 40-008PK. the individual brackets are not available by themselves so your best option is to get the whole kit.

The 2001 and 2000 Chevy trucks do NOT use the same grille guard or mounting kit though. The grille guards are contoured to fit the lines of the truck so each one is slightly different. Westin does not have any current listing for a 2001 Chevy 2500. It is possible that the one you have will not fit your truck properly.
