Demco Adapter for 2015 Ram 3500 with OEM Prep Package Will Not Lock Into Place

Question:

I just received my factory prep mounting system and the pins wont rotate to lock it in place? Any ideas?

Adapters such as # DM6099 for Ram trucks with the OEM prep package and even the hitches that fit directly into the prep packages can require a little fine tuning to get the locking part at the right depth to turn the handle and lock them into place. You may need to add or remove a shim from the locking sockets on the Demco adapter to get the right depth.
