According to the online version of the owner's manual for your 2013 Kia Soul, the version with automatic transmission cannot be flat towed with all wheels on the ground. This is noted in section 6-27 of the manual. The car's front wheels must be elevated and placed on a tow dolly like # RM-2050-1 from Roadmaster.
This type of dolly requires a brake controller like the Prodigy P2 # 90885 to operate the electric brakes.
