How Does BoatBuckle PWC Winch Strap with Hook and Soft Tie - Tail End Attach to Winch Drum

How do you install tail end no loop of this strap to the winch hub?

On a winch strap with a tail end such as # IMF14215 you would have to route the tail end through the sides of the winch drum as if it where a cable. There really isn't another way to secure it to the drop since it doesn't have the traditional flat end with a loop for a bolt.
