Question:
hello i have reviewed you answer concerning the amperage that these lights pull. you said 2.7 and since it has 2 bulbs its 5.4 ? your telling me this light puills 5.4 amps? that being said if there is 8 on one trailer its pulling 43.2 amps? with what wire? this means you need 8 guage or heavier wire? what alternator would support this trailer? do you know ohms law? im asking because this doesnt sound right at all? please let me know as im about to purchase 8 of these and its not looking to good as of now. please let me know thank you

Actually I checked with Optronics and they list that the Double Bullseye Trailer Clearance, Side Marker Light # MC42AB that you referenced only draws .4 amps. So for a total of these you would only be drawing 3.2 amps.
