Comparison Of 2 Inch Hitch Stabilizer Clamps

Updated 04/15/2015 | Published 04/14/2015

Question:

HI, I have a 22 power boat and I need to know which item will be the best option. I have found 2 items from your website, the Stabilizer Clamp U Bolt 2inch and the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch. Almost a $10 difference but seem almost equal to me. Which one should I get? Thanks for your help.

We have had several reviews for both of these products and have approval ratings that are very high. They are each designed for different purposes.

The Roadmaster Quiet Hitch, part # RM-061 uses a U-bolt to hold the beveled bar in place.

The Brophy Stabilizer Clamp, part # RSCP uses the lip of the included plate to secure the shank in place. If you are towing your boat, this is the correct stabilizer to use.
