Question:

2007 Yukon XL I want to install a Front Hitch Receive to mount a Portable Winch and Roadmaster MX baseplate for towing on my XL in looking at the instructions it looks like it fit. Can you confirm this for me?

The Roadmaster MX Base Plate Kit, # 3154-3, is one of the correct base plate kits for a 2007 GMC Yukon XL 1500. I have included a link to all the base plate kits for the Yukon XL in case you have different model.

I spoke with my contact at Curt about the Front Hitch, # C31012. He stated that it will fit your 2007 GMC Yukon as long as it is a 1500, and not a hybrid model. There are no front hitches available for the 2500 or hybrid models. I have included a link to the instructions for this hitch below.

My contact could not determine whether or not the front mount hitch and base plate kit would interfere with one another. Based on the instructions for each, the same mounting hole is used for both the front mount hitch and the base plate kit. So it would appear that they will not work together.
