Question:
I was looking at your trailer wiring for my 2011 mitsubishi outlander. The item # I was looking at was: C56102. I looked at my vehicle and the rear wiring looks like it will fit properly, however the front plug that I found thanks to your installation video looks like it is a 4 hole FEMALE plug when I took the cap off, and the images of the plug on your site appear to be female as well. Do I have the right kit for my 2011 Mitsubishi, or am I incorrect? Please let me know if this is possible, or if I have the wrong kit or was looking at the wrong plug on my car. Thanks!

Thank you for providing a picture of your 2011 Outlander's tow package connector.
If your 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander came with the factory tow package then you have identified the correct trailer wiring harness, Curt # C56102. A similar wiring kit from Tow Ready is part # 118518.
Both work on your Outlander.
The connector in your photo certainly appears to be the correct mating connector for the harnesses. If you look again at your connector and that on the harnesses you will note that they are NOT the same and that they will mate together properly. Your photo shows a female connector while the mating one on the harness has protruding (male) pins.
