Can the Blue Ox KarGard # BX8870 be Used on a Motorhome with Rear Exhaust

Question:
My RV is a 2014 Thor Palazzo 33.2 Class A motorhome, diesel pusher, with a rear exhaust see Photo. Can a Blue Ox KarGard #BX8870 be used with a rear exhaust? Protect-a-Tow is a similar system and is not recommended with a rear exhaust because the heat from the exhaust pipe will damage the material.

I spoke to my contact at Blue Ox and she informed me that the Blue Ox KarGard part # BX8870 that you referenced can work on vehicles with rear exhaust like what you have on your 2014 Thor Palazzo 33.2 Class A motorhome.
Their Kargard II part # BX88255 can not be used with rear exhaust unless an exhaust turn down is used.
