Do Trailer Wet Equalizer Bolts have Press In or Screw In Zerk Fittings
Updated 03/16/2015 | Published 03/14/2015 >
Question:
Last year I purchased and E-Z flex system for my fifth wheel. I purchased the wet bolts also, with it. Question: Are the zerk fittings screwed in or pressed it? I cant get grease to pump into one and I am thinking the grease has gotten hard and I want to remove the zerk and rod out the old grease. Thanks in advance

Without knowing what wet bolts you have it is hard to say for certain, but most likely the zerk fitting of the bolt is pressed in as that is the norm.
Since typically the way to fix a zerk fitting that won't take grease is to remove it and then clear it out and reinstall a new one it might just be easier to replace the wet bolts you have to save the trouble.
