The Rola Roof Mounted Cargo Basket, part # 59504 may be a good fit for your 1999 GMC Suburban. It measures 52 inches long x 40-1/2 inches wide x 6 inches deep, and has a weight capacity of 130 lbs. The maximum crossbar dimension that this basket can fit is 1-1/4 inch tall X 3-1/4 inches wide.

You should be able to use two of the extensions, part # 59505 with your four crossbars. Each of the extensions adds an additional 18-3/4 inches to the basket. When adding extensions to the roof basket it is recommended to use a sealant like part # LT37467 when assembling.
