I need about 8-10inch rise for a pintle hook to tow an M105 military trailer. Can you recommend a setup?

If you have a 2 inch receiver opening on the vehicle you will be towing with the B&W Pintle Hook Mounting Plate, part # BWPMHD14005 may work well for you. The mounting plate features 7 holes on each side of the plate that are spaced 1-3/4 inches center to center and the space between the two rows of mounting holes are spaced 3-3/8 inches center to center. The weight capacity for this mount is 16,000 lbs. The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the mounting plate is 12-1/8 inches. I have attached a photo with the dimensions noted you can check out.
For a mounting plate that has a shorter shank but same height adjustments and weight capacities I recommend part # BWPMHD14004. The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the mounting plate for this mount is 10-1/8 inches.
The Pintle hook I recommend is the Curt Pintle Hook, part # C48210. The mounting holes are spaced 1-3/4 inches apart up and down center to center and 3-3/8 inches center to center across. This hook comes with the mounting hardware included.
The capacity of the mounting plate is 16,000 pounds so that is the maximum capacity you can go by for your system even though the Pintle hook is rated higher. You must always go by the lowest rated component.
I have attached links to product review videos for the mounts and the Pintle hook you can check out.
