Question:
Hello Etrailer, quick question? I see that you have several trailer hitches that will fit my 2013 chevy sonic 5 door hatchback. My question is which one will tuck up underneath the rear fascia the best so as to be out of site the most. I dont care for the exposed crossbar of the hitch showing if i can help it. The receiver tube itself will no doubt be visible. Any advice or recommendation is appreciated. Perhaps they all show but is one more concealed more than another? Thanks for your help, you have a Great Web Site and product ion, Ive also enjoyed your you tube videos - very informative, I need to order some towing base plates from you as well as I am setting this vehicle up for towing behind a motorhome this summer. Thanks again,

Since you have a hatchback model of the 2013 Chevy Sonic you will have to get on of the hitches for your vehicle that has a visible cross tube. The hidden cross tube hitches are for the sedans only.
Of the hitches that are confirmed to fit the hatchback models I would recommend the Draw Tite hitch part # 24878 over the Curt hitch part # C11258 as the Curt has a bracket that goes under the exhaust and the Draw Tite goes over it making it less visible. I attached an install video for you to check out as well.
For a base plate kit I would recommend the Roadmaster Base Plate part # 523173-4. I attached an install video for this product as well.
