Question:
is it possible to paint these fenders

Expert Reply:
I spoke with my contact at Cequent, the manufacturer of the Fulton Plastic Fenders, and he told me that they can be painted. But there is a catch. You can paint them, but the paint will not stick very well and, consequently, will not last very long. This is because of the polyethylene the fenders are made from. It is not an ideal surface for paint to stick to.
This same fender is available in black, # F008582, and silver, # F008592. The color, including white, is molded into these fenders so if they are scratched, it is not as noticeable.
