How to Ground the Teardrop Clearance Lights CB-15AK
Updated 02/17/2015 | Published 02/16/2015 >
Question:
I just installed these running lights directly to fiberglass. But the lights do not illuminate? Do these lights have to be mounted directly to metal for proper grounding? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The lights in the teardrop light kit # CB-15AK ground through the mounting hardware so you would need to either attach them to metal or have the mounting hardware go through a ring terminal on the end of a wire and attach the other end of the wire to a bare metal surface.
