Question:
I was looking for straps for my Thule bike rack and am having trouble determining which strap I need. I have a hitch mount rack that is about 10 years old but can not find a model number or name on the rack. What is the best way to determine what strap I need?

The best way to pick out a replacement strap for your older Thule bike rack would be to compare what your bike rack currently has to the # 852-3006-001 and the part # 853-7803 as these are two popular Thule replacement straps that fit a lot of racks.
The # 852-3006-001 is 8-3/4 inches in length and has 1/2 inch holes, the # 853-7803 is 9 inches long as has the same size holes.
I also attached a link to all of the Thule replacement straps we offer. If you want, you can email me back with a picture of the strap as well as the dimensions of it and I can see what would work best.
