Question:
Could you explain how another battery would get wired in when using this kit? Or provide a diagram for wiring in? I would like to run an inverter from it and have my truck charge it. I would not want my truck batteries draining though while using the inverter at night. Thanks

Expert Reply:
In order to prevent draining your main battery when using an inverter at night, I recommend using the Deka Battery Isolator, # DW08771, with the TorkLift HiddenPower Under-Vehicle Battery Mount with Battery Box, # TLA7740, (battery not included). The battery isolator will allow both two batteries in your 2014 Dodge Ram Pickup to charge at the same time and will protect the starting battery from being drained by the accessory battery. I have attached a drawing that shows how the isolator is installed.
