Question:
Whats the length of travel of the latch bolt? Also, what is recommended for the catch on the other side of whatever door youre locking? Didnt see any related items.

I went into our warehouse and pulled a # SL716 from our warehouse to get the dimension you requested and found that the latch bolt can travel 1-1/8 inches.
You will need to provide your own catch for this bracket for use with this latch.
