Is There Potential Problems by Placing Shackle Straps in Front of Axle Instead of Rear Axle

If I place the shackle in front of the axle instead of behind, what are potential problems that could arise?

As long as your shackle straps are not elongated, bent or rusted you can place them in front of your axle.
It's always a good idea to check shackle straps frequently because they are the part that will wear the most. If you need to replace, you will measure the shackle from center of one eye to the center of the other eye.
