Question:
I have a 2002 Dodge dakota pickup with a 4.7 L engine. Which of these transmission oil coolers would be the best choice?

Expert Reply:
The most popular transmission cooler for your 2002 Dodge Dakota with 4.7 liter motor is # D13503. Transmission coolers are not vehicle specific so you can use any one of them that fits in the available space in the engine compartment.
Since transmission fluid cannot be cooled too much I recommend going with the largest one that will fit for the most efficiency and cooling power. Cooler # D13504 is one of the larger options measuring 11 inches wide, 12 inches tall, and 7/8 inches deep.
I have linked a couple of videos showing installations and a link to our help article on transmission coolers for you.
