The overall dimensions of the Redline "Junior" Locking Steel Flush Door Latch # L1833 that you referenced can be seen on the photo I have linked for you. I pulled a piece from our warehouse and took the measurements you requested.
The overall outside dimensions of the mounting flange are 3-5/8-inches x 4-3/4-inches.
