Question:
I have a Tekonsha #90195 Controller that was purchased from trailer.com a while back. I am finally getting around to installing that controller and need the wiring with the appropriate connectors at each end so I can plug it to my harness and the back of the trailer brake controller. Vehicle applications are: 1 1992 Ford F-150 2 2002 Ford F-350 What harness part #s do I need? Thank you,

For the 1992 Ford F-150 you will need a wiring kit to install the brake controller. What you would want is the Wiring Kit for 2 and 4 Brake Electric Brake Controllers # 5506. This will provide the power source and ground for the wiring for the brake controller. You will need to test the wires from the brake pedal switch of your vehicle to find a circuit that has voltage when the brakes are applied and none when not applied. This will be the circuit you will run the red wire to.
Finally you will need to run a length of 10 gauge wire (part # 10-1-1) from the brake output circuit of the controller to the brake output circuit of the 7-way (blue wire). The # 10-1-1 is sold by the foot so you will need to order a quantity of the amount of feet you will need.
I attached an FAQ on installing brake controllers for you to check out.
For the 2002 F350 all you would need is the # 3035-P harness. Check out the install video I attached for this harness to the right.
Since you plan on using the controller in two vehicles you'll want another install bracket for the controller, # TK5906.
