Question:
Is this the correct trailer hitch part for my 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara? The video was for an XL-7 and I am not certain if this hitch will bolt to the car as shown in the video XL-7. Will this hitch bolt holes line up for attaching to my 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara without modifying either the hitch or the intended attachment locations on my car?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Curt trailer hitch # C13517 you referenced will fit your 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara. The Curt trailer hitch # C13517 has confirmed fits with the 1999-2005 Grand Vitara and 2002-2006 Grand Vitara XL-7 models.
The hitch bolts will line up just fine without modifications.
If you plan on doing any towing, the custom fit wiring you need is # C55372 and ball mount kit # 989900. The ball mount kit comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 hitch balls, pin and clip and carrying bag.
I included a FAQ and installation videos too.
