would it be okay with my 2014 bmw x3 x28i? its 245/50/18.

The Pewag Tire Chains # PWSXV580 that you referenced are confirmed to fit the 245/50R18 tires you have on your 2014 BMW X3. However, you will need to consult the owners manual of your vehicle to determine if there are any snow chain restrictions before you purchase anything.
These chains are 3.2 mm thick so they would clear in most tight areas. I attached a review video for these chains for you to check out as well to the right.
