Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And we're going to be taking a look at the replacement allen bolt for your Thule Sonic cargo box. Now if something happened to the hinge on your Thule Sonic cargo box and it's come undone, you need a replacement, this is going to be that part that you need to get everything back to working again. So let's take a little closer look at it and make sure that it's going to be the right fit for you. You can see it's just going to be that small M5 style bolt, this is going to be an M508 bolt by 30 millimeters. So it just helps to support the tube cylinder and it helps keep everything locked down.

There's a little bit of Loctite on the end, so it should prevent it from getting backed out at any point, but maybe you're trying to do some repairs to that hinge and this happened to just roll away, or if something else happened to it maybe it got bent or damaged.So if everything else is working properly for your Thule Sonic you just need to keep it rolling a little bit longer, this is going to be that part that you need to replace for your hinge. This works for the Thule Sonic XL for the silver and black version, and then also for the Thule Sonic XXL or double XL, again for the silver and black.That's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the replacement bolt.
