Today we're gonna be taking a look at the three inch Valterra RV waste valve cap with a garden hose inlet. It's available in clear with part number T1020-1CLRVP and in black with part number T1020-1VP. This is a great replacement for your lost or damaged waste valve cap. If you don't have a garden hose inlet, it can serve as an upgrade. The inlet allows you to connect the flushing hose for all sight drainage of your gray water. The main cap features a Santoprene seal.
So it's gonna be leak proof and the bayonet fitting makes it quick and easy to install. Both caps feature a rubber leash so you can't lose them. Now that we got all the features, I'll go ahead and show you how to get in installed. First thing we'll do is attach the rubber leash to the pin here. This is so we don't lose it.
Once it's connected, we'll attach the bayonet fitting. That's gonna complete our look at the three inch Valterra RV waste valve cap with a garden hose inlet, part number T1020-1CLRVP.

Have trouble turning them on as knobs on edges are very small. Old ones had 4 clips these only gave 2
Went to other stores looking for this item and couldn’t find it, this was easy and I got what I wanted
Used these to replace the stock Valterra caps on new camper because I wanted the water hose connections these have. Would have Been 5 stars except these only have two hooks to hold them on where the others have four. Since there are only two hooks; they drip when the water hose attached puts a bit of weight or pressure on the cap. Keeping the hose from pulling on the cap stops the problem.

The RV waste cap with garden hose hookup worked very well. I was able to fill and sanitize my fresh water tank then run the faucets into my grey water tank and drain it before going on a trip. Seems like a simple feature that all waste caps should have.
The seal on my old cap was cracked so I bought this. The tethers are nice. I like the garden hose hook-up. It makes it easy to flush your tanks without having to run a hose inside the camper and down the sink or toilet. You'll want to grab an adapter for the end of your garden hose to hook up to this though.
Had trouble finding this anywhere else - so glad eTrailer had it available. Our initial order wasn't successful due to external issues. Once we discovered and corrected the problem, I was impressed that eTrailer honored the pricing at the time our original order was placed. Great customer service.
The waste value cap with hose fitting is a great idea BUT isn't exactly plumb. The hose attachment is at approx. 0500 (clock) position, not at 0600. The ears on my setup are at 0300 & 0900.

I bought this item to replace the one torn off our camper trailer.
Quick arrival, tough quality, snug fit. Really not much to say about this type of device. The old one had a worn out gasket and leaked. This one works great simply because the gasket is new. But I can say, "Thank you etrailer" for offering so many products for our RV's making it easier to get everything at one store.
