Today we're going to take a look at the Deka safety grip battery hold down for group 24 and 24F batteries. Now this safety grip battery hold down will secure your battery to your vehicle. The kit includes one hold down and the two hold down mounting brackets. Now the hold down and the mounting brackets are all rubber coated to help prevent rust and corrosion. And if you notice on the hold down itself, has multiple locations where you can attach your mounting brackets to. Again this is designed to fit the group 24 and 24F batteries.
This part is made in the USA. And the last thing we'll do is just give you the inside dimensions on this hold down. Inside length is right at 10 and 7/8 inches. And inside width is right at six and 7/8 inches wide. But that should do it for the review on the Deka safety grip battery hold down for the group 24 and 24F batteries..

I am using a group 24 battery in a 1955 Chevy hot rod with original type battery box. Could not find a suitable holddown from any of the traditional specialty automotive suppliers. Glad I stumbled on etrailer on the internet.....price was fair sand they were good about advising order status
My existing NOS battery hold down frame on my '64 Corvette would not fit the replacement battery (too small). Did some on-line surfing and found exact size I needed from Deka and E Trailer had a good price for the item plus shipping.
