Today we're going to be taking a look at Valterra Bug Screen for Atwood and Suburban RV Water Heater Vents. The unit's very easy to install. It does come with detailed installation instructions, but it's constructed of a heavy-duty stainless steel construction. It's going to do a great job at keeping out unwanted pests, and it's going to feature minimal airflow restriction. It's going to come with one screen, one installation tool, and two spring fasteners. Taking a look at the overall dimensions real quick. Measuring this direction edge to edge, about 8-1/2".
Going this direction edge to edge is going to be about 6". Then the depth or the thickness is about 1-5/16". Now it's always a good idea to inspect your screens monthly and clean when necessary to help maintain proper airflow. Again, it's a simple installation. What I recommend doing is placing this over the heater vent and doing that to go ahead and determine where you want to place the springs. Once you have that determined, you'll notice that the spring has a crossbar end and an open end.
The opened end connects to the actual screen, and then the crossbar end will connect to the vent of the water heater. Take the screen off, go ahead and connect the springs to the screen, and then place it back over the vent. Then the included tool helps to reach through the screen, and it has a little cut-out in it, so it grabs onto the crossbar end of the spring. It goes through the screen, grabs onto the spring, and then you can push it, stretch the spring to connect to the water heater vent. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra Bug Screen for Atwood and Suburban RV Water Heater Vents.

Stop the invasion of unwanted insects, pests, and debris into your Atwood and Suburban RV furnace vent. Stainless-steel mesh screen also prevents wasps, mud daubers, and birds from building nests that interfere with your vent's airflow.Easy on. Solid product. I do wonder if a total of four springs would be better to secure the screen. Time will tell.
Spring system is weak.
Kept out dirt dobbers stays in place love it.
Product fit well a little tricky to put the springs on but once it's on it will keep those dirt daubers out. Very fast shipping will use in the future being i'm a repeated customer thanks.
