Replaces the twist knob on a load stop that is designed for original Thule TracRac ladder rack crossbars. Knob allows you to secure the load stop to the crossbar.

Adam: Hi, everybody! Adam with etrailer. Today, we're going to be just talking about some replacement parts for you guys' ladder racks. In particular, we're going to be looking at the Thule rack. So, we have the Xsporter here, but this is also going to work with your track TracRacs as well. And we're going to be taking a look at the replacement knob.It's exactly the same. Perfectly identical.
So, if you guys are just having troubles with your guys' knob, maybe the little sleeve on the inside starts slipping and you're not really getting it as tight as you want, or maybe you guys accidentally cross threaded it, or something like that. It's really easy, really simple. We have these replacement parts on our website, and it's just that easy to get it replaced, whether it just looks bad or it's not really functioning right. But as you can see, it is a perfect replacement. So, just know you have that option here at etrailer.If you guys do end up replacing your knob, and that's not necessarily solving your problem, it could be our little T-bolt down here.
And luckily, we do have a replacement for that as well on our website. So, just go ahead and check that out, and pick whatever replacement parts are going to be best for you guys, to get what you guys want.But to be honest, that's pretty much all there really is to know about this replacement knob for your Thule ladder racks.

I ordered the part on a Saturday afternoon. Shortly after placing the order, I realized, I ordered the wrong part. I sent them an e-mail about an hour later, explaining my mistake.

These are not original knobs, which is not a big deal except they are not as deep as the original knobs. Meaning the bolt bottoms out in the cap before it is tight on the rack. my fix was it add a few washers to fill the gap.
Everything came on time. Had a broken handle called them and they took care of it right away. Plan on buying from them in the future.

The thread didn't fit. I didn't even ask for a refund and even provided the correct size m8x1.25 in an email. I never received a reply. If you need this replacement part, take an existing one off match it at the hardware store and buy it there or order it based on your tracrac.

Unfortunately we don't carry the knob you're needing. But if you search for part 1500056186 online you will find the knob you were looking for.

Wrong part
An incorrect part was sent but the folks at etrailer went out of their way to quickly rectify the situation and get me the correct part. I bought my current rack from them and of course went back for a replacement part. I will purchase from them in the future based upon customer service.

Awesome product and they still perform like I just bought them a couple weeks ago.
Nothing wrong with the knob, other than the description is incorrect. This knob is for the larger track bolt that only fit the under side of the rack. They do not fit the t-bolt that goes with the load stop.

I am wondering how old your TracRac is. We have found that this particular hand knob is designed specifically for newer style TracRac Ladder Rack Load stops. If you have an older load stop then you will also need the bolt, part # HD-80122.
The knob doen't fit the stock t-bolt that came on my 2007 tracrac ladder rack. Extremely disappointed.

I would like to find the knob that would work for you. This is meant to be used on the load stop that comes with the rack. Where is the T-bolt located? Is it the one that fits into the cross-bar channel?
Product as described. Shipped fast. Would definitely order from etrailer again.
This was an exact fit to replace one damaged and one lost knob on my Trac rac.

Shipping was so slow that the mating part fell off before it arrived. Never received an order confirmation or shipping confirmation with tracking number. Had difficulty remembering who I had ordered from when the time came to check on the status of my order.
Like many vendors ET is using USPS to ship. Somehow this is never up to par and in the future I will insist on UPS or FedEx.
Received and will work as intended. Nice to have a place where you can get parts! Unable to get them through the manufacturer - H&H. Thanks eTrailer, I will be back.

Great, a little locktite and it is still there!
I was missing all the legs to the Tracrac I bought at an estate sale and was totally disappointed when I found out it was a very specialized piece. Went online to see if I could order them from the manufacturer, but was not able to find any on their parts lists for sale. I continued to look at option only to come up empty. Tried a general search and to my surprise e trailer had them. It made my day. Product came quickly and included everything ordered. Thanks etrailer ...you are now in my favorites. Cheers!

Took two bikes on a 1800 mile road trip. Worked great. Everything stayed tight and surprised how solid the whole unit is. Old sets bounced around a lot in the back as you went down the road.
