Specs:
The Roadmaster anti-sway bar does for side-to-side movement what a good pair of shocks does for up-and-down motion. You will notice a marked improvement in your vehicle's stability as the bar works to balance weight transfer and reduce body roll. The anti-sway bar acts as a link between your vehicle's frame and its front axle, using the axle as a brace to more effectively balance the shifting weight of your vehicle as you maneuver it. Lubricated bushings allow just enough pivot and rotation to compensate for the pressure placed on one side of your vehicle when it goes into sudden maneuvers, hits crosswinds or encounters shifting weights.
Superior Construction
The Roadmaster anti-sway bar is made of 4140 chromoly, a chromium and molybdenum steel alloy. This type of steel is considerably harder and stronger than the standard 1020 steel that is typically used in anti-sway applications. In addition, the larger diameter of the bar increases its torsional roll stiffness. The result is a bar that is not only stronger than the competition, but also nearly 30 percent better at resisting sway. The polyurethane bushings and grommets used at the attachment points are durable yet flexible, ensuring that the system is neither so rigid nor so malleable that it becomes ineffective.

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at Roadmaster's line of front anti-sway bars for motor homes. You want to refer to our fit guide to find the appropriate sway bar for your vehicle. And this is what a typical sway bar's going to look like when it's installed. Yours might be slightly different depending on your chassis, but this'll give you an overall idea of how it'll look.Your sway bar will attach to your front suspension and your frame to help reduce sway when going down the road. You may experience sway when going over uneven terrain, hitting potholes, on windy days, or when passing by large traffic.Sway causes driver fatigue, because you're constantly having to fight to maintain straight line on the vehicle when it's swaying back and forth. This'll help reduce that sway, allowing you to have more energy when you get to your destination so you can do the things you enjoy doing. The polyurethane bushings will help dampen against vibration, and they're also resistant against road grimes, oils, and UV rays. The bar itself has a black powder coat finish to help resist against corrosion. This sway bar's made of 4140 chrome alloy steel, which is going to be significantly stronger than the typical 1020 steel that's used on your factory sway bars.Compared to most factory sway bars, it's going to have a larger diameter bar.
It's going to help increase torsional roll stiffness. This means there will be less twisting in the bar, making for a more stable, smooth ride for you. This will also make for safer travel. In the event of an evasive maneuver or a quick turn, the reduction in body roll that you'll get with this bar installed will help you maintain control of the vehicle, and can help reduce rollover. And now we'll take our anti-sway bar out on our test course. And when we go into our alternating bumps, you can instantly feel a difference in the amount of sway.
It's a lot more stable side-to-side than what it was before, making it much easier to maintain control of the steering wheel. And then we'll head into our straight bumps. And when we hit those, there's a definite difference in how much forward and aft movement we had before. It's definitely a more comfortable ride than what we had, and again it's easier to maintain control of the steering wheel. And now we'll head into our slalom, where we can really test out the sway capabilities. So if we had some evasive maneuvers, how our motor home would react. And it's a massive difference.
When turning, there's hardly any sway. I feel much more confident taking nice sharp, evasive turns. After owning this product for a year, our customer Wayne J. checked in and had to say, "It's an excellent product. Well made, great instructions. Easy install with proper tools.
Made an incredible improvement in the handling of our 35-foot motor coach with an F-53 chassis. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to greatly decrease sway in a coach."And that completes our look at Roadmaster's line of front anti-sway bars for motor homes.
