Quick-Disconnect Hose Connection
The quick-disconnect fitting on this hose hooks up to the female Model 250 port on a Sturgi-Stay T-fitting, an adapter mounted on a propane tank, or another quick-disconnect port in your RV's propane system. The quick-disconnect port on the other end accepts the male quick-disconnect plug on your appliance. Both hook up without the need for any tools. Simply snap the quick-disconnect fitting into the port and it will stay locked in until you release it. To remove the fitting, just pull back on the collar of the port to disengage the connection.

Today we're going to take a look at the MB Sturgis 72" Sturgi-Stay Auxiliary Propane Feed Hose. On on end is the POL tank connector, and on the other end is the Model 250 Male Quick Disconnect plug. This is a thermoplastic construction. This hose has a 1/4" inner diameter. We mentioned the fittings. Right here, this is the POL, which stands for Presto Light, it's a reverse thread-thank connection.
On the other end is the 1/4" male model 250 quick-disconnect plug. This is designed to connect an auxiliary propane cylinder to a model 250 Sturgi-Stay quick disconnect. I happen to pull a fitting here that has one of those Model 250 Sturgi-Stay Quick Disconnects right here. Basically you just take your hose, push it in there, and you can see that it will quick disconnect. To remove it, just pull back and it releases it. This hose does meet the UL-569 Certification. It is designed for LP gas only.
The temperature range on this hose is a -40 degrees Fahrenheit, up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The maximum pressure rating is 350 psi, and the total length on this hose, if we extend it out end to end, would be 72". That should do it for the review on the MB Sturgis 72" Sturgi-Stay Auxiliary Propane Feed Hose with the POL tank connector on one end, and the model 250 male quick disconnect plug on the other end.
