I would give this hitch 5 stars but it was damaged when I got it. The handle was apparently dented when it was shipped so I had the choice of either sending sending back a 125 pound hitch or banging out a dent in the handle and getting the damn thing installed.

i got the 5 th wheel hitch and it was easy to assemble the only problem i have with it is the operation sticker that is suppose to be placed on the side is only printed in French . the one on the hitch and the two that came with it were not in English this was my only disappointment somebody needs to better check this how many more are like this.

Traded a 2017 Chevy 3500 for a 2022 Chevy 3500 not knowing the oem factory setup changed dimensions. Had a Reese 20k set up, decided to go with the Curt system. Hands down one of the best choices that I have made in a long time. No comparison on the quality of the Curt over the Reese. E-Trailer was great to deal with. Kept me posted with emails on the 4 days it took to receive shipment.

- In order to use the Curt PowerRide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # C22ER on a 2015 Ram 3500 you'll want to use the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Ram part # C16430-204 if you don't have the factory prep package or the Curt PowerRide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # C74BR if you do.
Please note, the installation kit does not have a weight capacity, this comes from the fifth wheel hitch which will be the weakest component of the system since the install kit attaches to the frame.

- According to Curt, you never want to operate your PowerRide # C22ER fifth wheel hitch without the integrated lube plates installed. I am not sure what would have caused the screws to shear, but they are replaceable. We have # C52WR which comes with 2 new plates and new screws. That being said, the PowerRide hitch is under a limited lifetime warranty. I recommend contacting Curt directly for warranty.
