Best Jeep CJ-7 Trailer Suspension Parts

I bought these as spare hardware to keep with my trailer. They appear to be manufactured well and will be a direct replacement if I have a failure while transporting.

These were a direct replacement for my 25 year old dump trailer. I removed the plastic bushings and used brass.

The bolt holes are not bored center of the lobes and are not 90 degrees to the stock. The egg shaped equalizers I am replacing have more material remaining on the thin side than the new ones I just received from etrailer. NOT HAPPY Must Resolve This Issue ASAP

This product did exactly what we needed it to. Bought a replacement axle from Dexter but it created clearance issues in the wheel wells. After installing this kit we have much more clearance and the trailer rides like a dream.

Outstanding product. I am so grateful the install video was added to the page. I am a hands on individual and struggle reading directions with numerous steps at times and it made it so much easier to install this. The explanation of how the mount has to sit flush with the axle seat once you tighten down the spacers was very helpful during the alignment stage. I still have to weld the brackets to the axle for extra support as recommended but I did notice that I will be gaining roughly 4” of clearance height to my trailer. This will allow me to sit more evenly with my lifted truck and get my trailer in my driveway easier since I have a water drainage built in to the entrance way with a big dip.

Worked great fit was good. I did not use standard nuts furnished but used Nylon lock nuts instead.

New suspension parts made a real difference in trailer handling. Original shackles holes were severely elongated, spring eye mounts were also needing attention. Thank you, etrailer for the needed parts and support.

These parts were a perfect replacement for my old rusted u bolts. I would recommend buying flat and lock washers to place on the u bolts under the nuts due to the holes in the plates being big enough that the nuts get a little torn up when you tighten them, also the nuts it came with aren't lock nuts.

I couldn’t find parts for my customers boat trailer . Nobody had a complete trailer axle . So I finally found etrailer they answered the phone I had all my measurements they took the time to search out what I was asking for . Looked under my trailer and the u bolts and plates wer rusted away, it's an old trailer so I had no details like make or model number. Called and talked to Kelly S. I purchased this plate to upgrade the suspension on my trailer. I would get a a lot of trailer sway when I was towing my jet ski trailer. I bought the trailer used and never really looked at the springs. Unfortunately for me, There was nothing but one U bolt strapped diagonally across the spring. I'm no suspension expert but I knew this could NOT be safe. I did extensive research on trailer suspension. It was difficult to find parts for a 11/2 inch square axle. It was until I came across etrailer webpage. They had everything I required to upgrade and make my trailer safe to operate on the road. It was actually criminal what the person did to attach the original spring. I am greatful nothing ever happened while towing. Now with the new parts installed, I feel a lot better and my trailer does not sway anymore. I will definitely purchase my trailer needs from etrailer from now on. The pictures and videos make finding what I needed so much easier. The complete transaction from order to delivery was extremely efficient and the customer service is absolutely outstanding!

Have started replacement, delay due to health, after removing old suspension on one side discovered that the U Bolts and the base plates do not align, the holes and bolt widths are off,no possible use. Compared the old plates to the new which showed the irregular hole pattern. The bolts do not work with the old plates either. So I'm just using the old hardware.

This U bolt worked Great...I actually modified my rural king trailer and used these U bolts to fasten my leaf spring to axle...Whst I did was set the springs on top of the axle. They were under it. It raisec my Utility trailer 6 inches. I don't reccomend you try this without watching lots of youtube videos

Arrived earlier than expected. They sure look better than y old over torqued rusty ones.

Just what we needed to replace the old rusted shackles when installing the new leaf springs.

I replaced the equalizers, shackles, bushings, bolts, and nuts on an old trailer. Everything fit properly without modification. Product quality was excellent.

I love this suspension its quiet and the handling and ride is the best I have ever used on a trailer. Gonna buy another set for my gooseneck trailer. Will never go back to leaf springs!

I used these to replace the leaf springs and equalizers on a 20’ gooseneck cattle trailer that I rebuilt. The ride is great and the usual rattling and clanging of the trailer going down the gravel road is gone. So far I am very happy with the ease of installation and the performance of the suspension. I guess only time will tell about the durability of the rubber components in the long run.
