Best Ford Crown Victoria Trailer Suspension Parts

Fit around axle is good but bolts could stand to be at least an inch longer, only tighten up flush with plate under my 5 leaf springs, could not use lock washers had to use red Loctite.

Just mounted my 1.5 inch square axle today using this item. Worked great. I used a cradle to align my axle on the slipper springs (no holes needed i. axle) but the cradle added about 1/4 inch. This means there were no extra bolt threads extending beyond the nut. The lock washers were fully compressed, though. The red on the bolt threads in the pic is just grease.

Looked under my trailer and the u bolts and plates wer rusted away, it's an old trailer so I had no details like make or model number. Called and talked to Kelly S. She was very knowledgeable and overly efficient! Got my parts super fast, the u bolts wrer very thick and the plates were even thicker. Quality parts at a good price. New suspension parts made a real difference in trailer handling. Original shackles holes were severely elongated, spring eye mounts were also needing attention. Thank you, etrailer for the needed parts and support.

These parts were a perfect replacement for my old rusted u bolts. I would recommend buying flat and lock washers to place on the u bolts under the nuts due to the holes in the plates being big enough that the nuts get a little torn up when you tighten them, also the nuts it came with aren't lock nuts.

The jack is decent. My only complaint would be that the wheel I purchased to go on to the jack does not pivot or turn when I push the trailer around. I have to constantly kick the wheel in order to guide the trailer into position.

I'm working on a 12 ft long 1957 Corvette trailer. Easy install, and perfect fit. I dropped the axle to gain 3".

Rebuilding the leaf springs on my 1975 Hale 2 horse straight load. These U-bolts were what I needed. Very happy.

Need to raise my deck over trailer deck. Purchased four of the spring seats. Dropped the four shackles, pulled axels out and measured and welded them on opposite the existing ones. Refastened the shackles and installed axels under axels on new sets. Worked great!

Called in to order a suspension kit (#AP233), which does not include nylon bushings for the leaf spring eyelets. These bushings were recommended given how many were needed for the leaf springs. These bushings are the wrong size. The outside diameter is 3/4. My application needs 11/16. These bushings won't even fit the suspension kit equalizers in the same sales order.

Fit my trailer spring set perfectly. Time will tell how long they'll last but the springs are not rattling on the bolts any longer. I'm very satisfied.

This is exactly what I needed to replace the nylon bushings in my Trailex trailer, which were damaged when removing rusty bolts. As always, etrailer shipping was super-efficient.

I don't know if I can give a 5 star rating on a somewhat thin nylon bushing but it does do what it is supposed to do and I glad etrailer has it. it is made as expected with no defects. I got as backups. It will fit the a leaf spring opening for a 9/16 inch bolt. I just wished I would have checked with etrailer for their thicker bushing that supports a 1/2 inch bolt before I drilled out the existing trailer frame hole. Oh well, that part of my trailer suspension is now a little beefier.
