RockyMounts MonoRail Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount
This thing is rock solid. Once I figured out the directions and put it on my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee is was so impressed with how stable it was. With two hybrid bikes on the platform rack it didn't even wiggle in the slightest! The only negative comment I can make was in lack of information in the directions. I had the platforms backwards and didn't know it until I tried to fold the rack completely up. I reviewed the directions again and no mention or illustration is available. However the fix wasn't that hard and it now functions exactly like the videos. Customer service from etrailer was remarkable though both times I called I thought the wait time was a little long. I would recommend this product and this retailer to anyone. Great service, great product!
It was very easy to assemble the MonoRail 2. All of the parts were in the box and nothing was damaged. I would recommend etrailer to purchase from as they were the only ones to have this bike rack. Also I would recommend the MonoRail as well.
I really like the Rockymounts Monorail 2 but I also have a slight problem with it as well. But the problem that I have is going to go will all hitch type racks. The problem that I have is with the backup sensors so I bought the 53201 Curt Auxiliary LED Indicator Lights and some magnets top attach it to the rack. If I were to say anything is that I think all bike racks should come with something to plug to prevent the sensors from going off. there then that the rack is gray and I have had no problems with it at all. This is a great rack for the money.

Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Hanging Style
Excellent quality. Easy assembly with clear instructions. Stable attachment to vehicle. The bike(s) are secure on the rack. I do have to remove the front wheel of my bike for transport because it rests too low to the ground. I purchased this bike rack so I can take my bike to different areas of town for my daily ride. I am very pleased with the price, processing and delivery of my purchase from etrailer.com.
My Thule bike rack has worked well over the past year mounted on my Hyundai Elantra GT. Pretty easy to mount whenever I need it, and I do appreciate how the carry arms can be folded down. I will say, however, that as a woman rider it is extremely annoying how bike racks are only made for grown men. So women and children are left struggling. I only use my rack for me and my kid, and it is super challenging to load the bikes onto the arms (and an adapter works for my bike but not for a kid's bike).

Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount
2014 Toyota PriusFits pretty well on our 2014 Prius, although it occasionally needs some extra attention to make sure everything's secure - which is no different than any other carriers of this type. The cradles for the top tube of the bike frame are nice. Sometimes the rubber straps that you pull over a post to secure things in place are a little tight, I wish they were stretchier. But they keep things feeling good and secure. Overall it's convenient and sturdy, works with my car, and is a good value!
2015 Subaru ForesterEasy to assemble and attach to my 2015 Subaru Forester. I have been very pleased with the purchase. The bikes are fairly easy to load, although I have only had two bikes on at once (adult and teen-sized mountain bikes). Rack is secure when attached to car, as are the bikes to the rack. Longest car trip has been 3.5 hrs...no problems.

Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Gunmetal Gray
Very solid and bikes go on/off with ease. The built in mechanism that allows you to tighten the hitch to prevent sway works great, as well as the built in lock system. It’s on the heavy side, I need help pulling on and off but I can carry it (5’6” female that’s decently athletic), but I think it should have some girth on it to be as solid as it is. Worth the money if you bike often!
Stupid heavy rack, but so are all the others. The tilt down function to open the tailgate on my Subaru outback makes the rack rest on the ground. Not so nice for the shinny finish of the rack… easy to put together if you build the rack on your hitch. I’d buy something better, but I think this is the best on the market. I had the Sherpa and it was very good for transporting bikes. This is just as good, but it’s so heavy I can fishtail the car. Silly! Fast shipping

Saris Bones 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Perfect for my needs. I haul two bikes. i use velcro straps to keep the bike from swinging. I recommend this rack. I would buy again

Garry - 03/15/2022Disappointed in this bikerack. I got it specifically for my Prius, as the curved frame fits over the spoiler. Unfortunately there is no where on the trunk or frame of the card where the side straps can attach. The top strap and bottom ones fit tightly but without the tension of these side straps the bike rack will not stay evenly on the car. Almost lost my bike on several occasions After lots of gerryrigging, I discovered if I quickly slammed the trunk with the side straps hanging loosely in the trunk, I should catch the straps and tighten them. This seems to work. Also no matter how hard I tighten it, the center arm (which lies against the rear window) does not stay in place, but slides off center. The rack works fine, with lots of gerryrigging. But should be easier to use given the price. Also be aware, that if your Prius has a rear view camera, this will have to be disengaged eveeytime you back up with the bike rack and bike in place, or your car will automatically brake if you try to backup.

Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
If you've done any research or read any of the other comments on either this rack, or this seller...rest assured they really are as good as everyone says! I ordered my rack on around 4pm est on a Friday afternoon and within an hour I received an email that said they have shipped my product AND upgraded to priority shipping. Can't say enough positive things about the customer service! When the rack arrived, it took me a little over half an hour to get it set up. Probably would e been faster if I were even slightly mechanically inclined (or if didn't I didn't have to borrow a socket wrench from my neighbor). We finally had an opportunity to load up the bikes and head out for a ride today. As others have said, the first time you load up your bikes, it's kind of like a puzzle to get them situated. Took about 15 minutes. This rack is awesome! Very sturdy and the bikes were very secure. Only racks I have had in the past were rooftop fork mount racks. This is so much easier! On e we got to the trail (over an hour drive) getting the bikes off was a piece of cake. Afterwards, it was time to load them back up and it was less than 5 minutes to get them all on and ready to hit the road. There were other 4-bike racks on the website, but this one had enough great reviews that I felt comfortable making the purchase. After the fact, I'm very glad I did! I can't imagine the $800 rack can be that much better than this, and I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a 4-bike platform rack. I will definitely recommend this rack and etrailer.com to everyone I know.
We've used this bike rack with our '14 Sienna for over a year now and it works wonderfully. I especially appreciate the way the rack folds against the back of the van when not in use. After many hours of research before making this purchase, I could not be more happy with this rack.

Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
WOW WOW WOW That is what I just kept saying after installing this Saris bike rack. I have been looking for a bike rack for almost 3-4 months now. Thule and Yakima didn't have what I was looking for. Their solution for a 4-5 bike rack is too complicated, not efficient, and it would be a nightmare to manage on a regular basis. So I couldn't get myself to pull a trigger on any of those and I kept searching. Finally, I came to eTrailer and found out about Saris. That is where the love starts :) We are a family of 5 (3 kids and 2 grown-ups). I needed something that will help me load bikes fast, unload them and still be able to have access to the back of my Toyota Sequoia. Saris delivered in every way. Assemble of the item is straight forward. Instructions are clear and to the point. They even give you a yellow strip that helps you mark where the hitch needs to be in order to align hole openings for easier installation after you install it the first time ;) The back-up camera is still usable but not 100%. Tilting down the rack with the bikes on it is simple as 1-2-3. There is plenty of room left between the trunk door and the bike as you can see on the pictures. One HUGE benefit is that you do not need any extra parts for kids bikes. Not like with other brands. Saris delivers tremendously on this part too. No shaking, rattling, or anything that would make you notice that you have this amazing product on the back of your SUV/truck. I can't recommend it more. I am just surprised that this product has not been more advertised and represented compared to other products.
After a year this product is going strong. I have made my life easier by always putting same bikes in the same position heavier adult bikes closer to the car, and lighter kid bikes on the opposite side. This way I dont have to every adjust straps again. It makes everything so much easier. Just do yourself a favor and buy this product. You wont be sorry not for a little bit!
Zack Custovic - 06/10/2020Bike rack works great for my truck. I was able to load all the bikes and still fold down the tail gate which was real important to me. Folds up easy when not in use. I would also like to thank etrailer for getting the bike rack shipped out quickly. It arrived the day before I had to leave on vacation which made loading up the truck a lot easier.
SportRack EZ Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2006 Dodge Magnum
Today on our 2006 Dodge Magnum, well be test fitting the Sportrack 2 Hitch mounted bike carrier, Part # A30901. To mount this carrier to our vehicle, well insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. Well line up the hitch pin hole, turn in our anti rattle bolt and tighten it down. Next well go over some clearance measurements. Weve got about 8 inches of ground clearance from the bottom of the bike rack to the ground. Weve got about 5 inches of clearance between the closest part of the bike rack and the closest part of the vehicle.
Thule Apex 4 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2005 Dodge Magnum
Today, on our 2005 Dodge magnum, we're going to do a test fitting of a Thule Apex 4 part number TH9025.Now, our magnum is already equipped with a 2-inch hitch and our bike rack is already pre-assembled and were ready to fit it to the vehicle. One quick note about the Apex 4, it is capable of being used in both 1 inch and and 2-inch hitches class 1 through class 3, although when using it with a class 1 hitch, you are limited to 2 bikes. Well begin our test fit by simply inserting the bike rack shank to the hitch. Well then pull the integrated blocking pin and simply slide the bike rack into place. With the lock and hitch pin, snapped into the hitch pin hole, well then simply tie down the inner rail device working the bike rack back and fort to get the device into the corner of the hitch shank. And with a quick shake, our bike rack is secured to the vehicle and were ready to go ahead and load it up.

Have had this product for a year now and I stand by my earlier review. By far one of the best if not the best bike rack on the market. We drove from Indianapolis to Upstate New York last fall and the rack performed great. Would recommend this product to anyone.
