To begin our test fit, well slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. Well line up the pinhole and thread in our anti-rattle bolt tightening it with a wrench. Well go over some clearance measurements. We have about seventeen inches of ground clearance. The closest point of our carrier to the rear of our vehicle is about four inches. Weve added about 14 inches to the overall length of our truck. Well pull the lever here at the base of our carrier to allow our carrier to tilt away from the vehicle.



Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2007 Chevrolet Silverado New Body

Today on our 2007 Chevrolet Silverado new body, we'll be test fitting the Thule Hitching Post Pro 4 Bike Rack with anti-sway, part number TH934XTR. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch, line up the pin hole, and thread in our anti-rattle bolt, tightening it with a wrench. This gives us full access to the tailgate area of our vehicle. With the mast back in its upright position, we'll reinstall the pin and then pull the pin at the top of the mast to swing out our dual arms.

We have about 20 inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the rear of our truck is about 2 inches.

We've added about 21 inches to the overall lengthof our Silverado. We'll pull the lever at the base of the carrier to allow it to tilt away from our vehicle. This gives us full access to the bed of our truck by being able to fully open our tailgate.

Today, on our 2007 Chevrolet Silverado new body we'll be test fitting the Softride Dura Parallelogram titling four bike rack for 1-1/4 inch and 2-inch hitches, part number SR26247. To begin our test fit we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch, line up the pinhole and tread in our anti-rattle bolt, tightening it with a wrench and fitting the lock in place. Now, we'll go over some clearance measurements. We have about 16-1/2 inches of ground clearance. The closets point of the carrier to the rear of our truck is about 1-1/2 inches, and we've added about 34 inches to the overall length of our Silverado. We'll go ahead and undo our cradle straps and with our cradles exposed we'll place our bike onto the frame cradles. We'll secure it by tightening down each strap. We'll pull the pin on the passenger's side of the carrier up near the top, which allows our carrier to tilt away from the vehicle with the bike loaded keeping it parallel with the ground. This gives us access to the bed of our truck by being able to open our tailgate. That completes today's test fit of the Softride Dura Parallelogram, part number SR26247 on our 2007 Chevrolet Silverado new body. .
