Best 2019 Honda Civic Trailer Suspension Parts

New suspension parts made a real difference in trailer handling. Original shackles holes were severely elongated, spring eye mounts were also needing attention. Thank you, etrailer for the needed parts and support.

These parts were a perfect replacement for my old rusted u bolts. I would recommend buying flat and lock washers to place on the u bolts under the nuts due to the holes in the plates being big enough that the nuts get a little torn up when you tighten them, also the nuts it came with aren't lock nuts.

Worked great fit was good. I did not use standard nuts furnished but used Nylon lock nuts instead.

These U-Bolts along with the 4 leaf springs have worked out for me great. It has been a year since I put them on the trailer and I have traveled many miles with them at this point with no issues. etrailer has always had the parts I need for my trailer and given me the best customer support.

(CSR) was the one who helped us and if I could have left zero stars I would’ve. We walked through all of the specs of our trailer to put new suspension on our trailer. We were missed informed by (CSR) on what would work on our trailer. Now all the parts have been delivered and we have to return EVERYTHING because none of it will work for the trailer we have. We expressed to (CSR) how important it was to not only get these parts quickly but that we had to get the trailer running as quickly as possible. We are very disappointed in the service we received from him and his lack of knowledge. I think some training is needed on his part so that this doesn’t happen to another customer.

I Waited Too Long to Replace Trailer Bushings -The past few years I would hear “clunking” sound (different than “squeaking”) from my boat trailer, but I got concerned this year as it seemed louder. -With the boat off the trailer I could see wear around the shackle bolts -I called eTrailer to order the parts and was helped by Kayla to order the bushings/shackles/bolts/nuts for my tandem axle trailer -After trying to press the bushings in I realized I measured poorly and had two different bushings, the equalizer had 1 size and springs had a different size. -Amanda helped me get the second set of bushings (delaying the project for 5 days…but my fault) Right or wrong: -I applied anti-seize compound to the shackle bolt threads -I pre-loaded the “wet” bolts with marine grease to fill them up before inserting them into the suspension, adding grease when everything is installed -I tightened the bolts very securely and they backed off the nut ½ turn to allow for suspension movement Lessons learned: -Look for different size bushings in equalizer/springs and measure correctly ID & OD precisely -It takes some time to do this job (about 4 working hours per side) so try to do it when you are not under pressure -If you want the re-paint some parts, allow for primer and top coat drying time, i.e. overnight which adds time to the project, but it comes out better -Have a big breaker bar & extension/enforcer to help get the nuts on & off. My ½” impact gun could not tighten them all the way -A large “C” clamp will press the bushing in smooth & straight instead of using a hammer & block of wood “caveman style” -Annually inspect your trailer suspension for signs of wear and listen for increased noise Thanks again to Kayla, Amanda and eTrailer for help with this project.

Some of the pieces in this kit are of questionable quality. In particular, the threaded center of the nuts are not round, and will not thread on to the bolt. The kit comes with 14 of these nuts, and 7 of them are unusable. This is unforgivable, considering the issue has been reported at least since 2023, as there is a review and accompanying photo on 05/16/2023. So if you buy this kit assuming the problem has been corrected, you will be mistaken. Other than this issue, the kit seems to be acceptable.

Looked under my trailer and the u bolts and plates wer rusted away, it's an old trailer so I had no details like make or model number. Called and talked to Kelly S. She was very knowledgeable and overly efficient! Got my parts super fast, the u bolts wrer very thick and the plates were even thicker. Quality parts at a good price. These were a direct replacement for my 25 year old dump trailer. I removed the plastic bushings and used brass.

The bolt holes are not bored center of the lobes and are not 90 degrees to the stock. The egg shaped equalizers I am replacing have more material remaining on the thin side than the new ones I just received from etrailer. NOT HAPPY Must Resolve This Issue ASAP

Grease fittings are press fit in not threaded grease fitting pulled out on second time greasing it wish it said this in the description I wouldn’t have bought it… junk

These leaf spring bushings were exactly what I needed for my Shorelander boat trailer. I spent 2 hours checking 6 places locally before being referred to etrailer. The site was easy to navigate and I found exactly what I needed. My order was shipped very quickly and installation was easy.

This U bolt worked Great...I actually modified my rural king trailer and used these U bolts to fasten my leaf spring to axle...Whst I did was set the springs on top of the axle. They were under it. It raisec my Utility trailer 6 inches. I don't reccomend you try this without watching lots of youtube videos

Arrived earlier than expected. They sure look better than y old over torqued rusty ones.

these work to replace the plastic bushings in the leaf springs. nothing fancy, they work as they should, easy to install.

Dexter bronze bushings for the wet bolt leaf springs. These seem to wear out around 20,000 miles. These are direct replacement of the originals.

I looked all over for a u-bolt to replace one that broke on my 70's era horse trailer. I was about to give up when I found an exact match on etrailer.com. These shipped fast, were packaged well, and are just what I needed!

Rebuilding the leaf springs and shackles on my 1975 Hale 2 horse. These were needed parts. Customer service was fantastic finding me the right size bushings for the heavier connections.

I had a hard time finding a u-bolt that would fit my vintage trailer. These were the perfect width but too long. I cut them to size and they fit perfectly. These were the only u-bolts I could find that would fit my leaf springs. They are good quality and have held up nicely. I just wish they made this size shorter.

I had to replace the springs on my trailer because of a wheel coming off. Etrailer had exactly what I needed, shipped quickly, and made in the USA (which is important to me). Any other parts I need for trailers will be ordered through them. Go USA.

Fit around axle is good but bolts could stand to be at least an inch longer, only tighten up flush with plate under my 5 leaf springs, could not use lock washers had to use red Loctite.

Just mounted my 1.5 inch square axle today using this item. Worked great. I used a cradle to align my axle on the slipper springs (no holes needed i. axle) but the cradle added about 1/4 inch. This means there were no extra bolt threads extending beyond the nut. The lock washers were fully compressed, though. The red on the bolt threads in the pic is just grease.

I couldn’t find parts for my customers boat trailer . Nobody had a complete trailer axle . So I finally found etrailer they answered the phone I had all my measurements they took the time to search out what I was asking for .
