Bought these for my husband who had just purchased a 2017 Chevy Tahoe LT. The factory installed mirrors are different than his old 2006 Tahoe and were much smaller, making it difficult to properly see our trailer when towing. The cost to retrofit a set of factory installed large towing mirrors would have been about $800, however the salesman recommended we look at these as an alternative. Wow are we impressed.... These towing extensions fit great and allow us to see full blind spot and the trailer being towed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these! Great job guys!!!!!

Junk, they vibrate all over the place. Won't stay in the position you set them in for more than a mile
Product met and exceeded my expectations. Instructions were good and straight forward. Mirrors were great, they were a little hard to adjust, especially the passenger side, since they had to be adjusted while I was driving to get the right view. But once adjusted they stayed put and were a great help, since this was my first driving experience pulling a camper.

I did a very careful search on the etrailer.com website. I entered my vehicle model using the form features available on the website. The search returned this product as one that would work with my vehicle. Unfortunately, the mirrors did not fit my 2017 Chevy Tahoe. I’m entering a poor review based on my shopping experience. When I contacted customer service at etrailer.com, I receive a response informing me that I could send the product back but that I would have to pay the return shipping. If the error had been mine, I would have found this acceptable. Since I feel the error is a result of the search feature on your website, I think it is a shame that I have to pay the return shipping. As such, I do not plan to shop at etrailer.com and I plan to share my feelings with my fellow camper friends.

Mirror wobbles within housing I purchased these mirrors for my Ford F-250. The mirrors wobble within the housing so much that nothing can be seen in the mirror, rendering them useless. The Chevy Tahoe version of these mirrors are well built and work perfectly, however the Ford F-250 version are useless.

Received the mirrors and installed them the same day. They feel good and I don't have any trepidation concerning them staying on while traveling. Bought them for my 2017 Tahoe for when pulling a camper trailer, the factory mirrors just don't have enough viewing for backing up. Have not traveled with them on yet but think they will greatly enhance the viewing the car and trailer.

Great mirrors, I didnt have turn signals in my old mirrors but these work great, just plug and play
These are Quality Mirrors, very sturdy. Took me about an hour on the first side, (learning curve) but the second side was 1/2 of that. Makes the truck look great and can't believe what a difference they make for field of view. As for function my truck was set up for the turn signal and power mirrors and they work great.

Good quality, lots or 'reach'. Had to modify in order to fit Chevy Tahoe. The inside upper tab on the driver side had to be shortened to avoide interference with the tahoe mirror glass( the 4 tabs on the strap on mirror fit between the tahoe mirror shell and the mirror glass). A tab on the passenger side also interfered with the tahoe mirror glass. The tab would have had to be cut too short in order to avoid interference. I left it to bear on the glass putting strain on the tahoe adjustment mechanism. Both mirrors seem to be secure.
The mirrors are easy to mount and the ratchet is a nice feature. My 2015 tahoe factory mirrors are small so there's not much room for the straps to grab on to. Will be towing with them soon hopefully it' ll work out.

Exceeded expectations as a add on to the factory mirrors for both a Chevy Silverado truck and a Ford F150. It appears the extension is a perfect match and functional solution for trailer towing without the expenditure of new mirrors. Etrailer was not only the greatest value for this product from any internet site or regional store supply, but they also beat their date of delivery by six days on a UPS business delivery. I bought the towing mirror to replace one that got damaged. I like the mirror and was pleased that I found the replacement at etrailer.com. The site was easy to use and the order was quickly filled.
This was exactly the mirror I was looking for to match the existing Driver's side. The product has been improved since my last one which blew off from being loose anyhow while this one is engineered better and gives a good view of the blind side of the trailer and right lane. Good for corners and space back ins!!

CIPA Universal Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Qty 2
So-so construction and design. With one modification they're more than acceptable. The arms and straps will slip and loosen if installed on triangular or tapered housings. Mirrors that have backs nearly parallel to the mirror face, and have upper and lower mirror edges that are nearly parallel are not affected. Adding a peel and stick plastic wall hanger to a tapered housing will stop the strap from slipping and loosening. The ball and socket mount is good and tight, but the stud on the ball is loose in the arm. I think most of the jitter and vibration others report is from this sloppy clearance that the stud screw can't tighten enough. I'll be addressing that as well. A nice option for those of us that a) don't tow a majority of the time and don't want full time extended mirrors, and/or b) tow with multiple vehicles and prefer to have adjustability to fit our 'fleet'.
I ordered these for a 2023 Tundra after being advised to do so. The straps seem to be too short and to get them attached I'm really stretching then out and they're difficult to mount. I'm concerned they're going to pull off with so much tension and very little strap left threading through the tensioner.
