Best 2015 Ram 2500 Gooseneck Hitches

The hitch arrived quicker than expected and was in perfect condition. The installation went off quickly, easily, and without a problem (having assistance from my mechanic son-in-law who installs these things on a regular basis didn't hurt). The only thing I regret was not ordering the wiring harness for the in-the-bed trailer electrical plug. I had to spend $10-$15 more than etrailer.com's price to get one locally and finish the job. I'll know better next time. I have ordered a few things from etrailer.com and have never been disappointed in the service or the quality of their products. To quote Arnold, "I'll be back".

I am a very satisfied user. The 5th wheel we pull is 10.5Tons and I see no strain or wear marks after a year of occasional, mostly highway travels. The small amount of bed space taken up by the goose neck ball and hitches compared to a large, good quality plate hitch is remarkable. And of course when not being used, the ball and chain parts stay in the carry case. I only wish the parts were all stainless steel and rust proof. Still, not a problem as I keep the corrosion prone parts coated with wheel bearing grease.

I have been using a Reese setup I borrowed from a friend when I found the Curt ball and safety chain loops kit and decided to order it. I received it and found the ball to be heavier built with a steel release lever and not plastic and the loops larger and easier to hook the safety chains. All for less money. Very happy !!!!

Reasonably easy to install, though longer than estimate unless you're a pro with a lift. No issues with the hitch, it seems fine and the pop out ball is very convenient.

I haven’t pulled with it yet, but installation went well and it it a strong and well made item.

Fit and finish was good, Easy to install. After on year of use I have no issues. I live in the north east, so I added additional undercoating to protect the hitch from the roads salt.

Great product installed on existing rails in about 2 minutes and ready to pull.

Hitch was as promised. Installed by myself and fit perfect in a 2018 2500 HD Chevy. I lost a u-bolt spring during installation and CURT replaced it free of charge. etrailer employees were great and hitch was delivered quick. I highly recommend etrailer, CURT and this hitch.

Easy installation. We had 3 guys and were done in 20 minutes less than instructions said. Works fine as frog's hair! When measuring the hole in the bed remember to measure from the front of the bed and rear! Then look underneath for the bed crossmember.

Great product w great instructions. It was an affordable package that installed decently. We have used the hitch for a year now and have had zero issues w it. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars was because the cross bars that go between the frame rails needed to have the threaded holes chased w a tap to remove the powder coating prior to installation. I initially tried installing it without chasing the threads and the bolts started to get very tight before the parts even pulled together. Once the threads were clean, everything assembled very well. The hitch takes time to install, at least if you want it to look good and be correct. On a 1500 ram, you will probably need to install some form of helper spring or air bags to prevent the rear from squatting from the weight of the gooseneck trailer…the factory 1500 coil springs are not firm enough on their own.

I haven’t pulled with it yet, but installation went well and it it a strong and well made item.

For the price of the product, packaging was terrible, product arrived with paint missing from several large areas due to shipping damage. Box was barely intact when it arrived. Also was missing one of the large grade 8 4.25” long bolts. So after a trip to the hardware store to replace the missing bolt and buy some paint to fix the damaged finish, got it installed pretty easy.

Excellent underbody hitch system. Installation went well once the body was off. If your installing on a late model ford you may want to be sure you have new bed bolts available. Ford says they are not reusable for some reason but it did not matter in my case. Even though I put PB rust blaster on 2 days in advance the cage nuts broke the cage and spun. Ended up having to grind the tops off to remove the body and then using some heat to custom bend a box end wrench to get into the box frame so I was able to remove the (now) studs. This was on a 4 year old truck but New England winters at work here i’m sure. Once the body was off installation was a breeze. Fit is perfect.
