Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs
The install on my Ford Maverick is clean and functional, so this is more of a customer service review... excellent customer service! During the 4-day towing set-up install, the forecast was for freezing temps and my rig was not winterized. I called in mid panic and the motorhome was moved indoors. A few months after using the tow set-up, a minor problem developed. I called and the CSR apologized and said, I can see how that might be frustrating, and a replacement cable (slightly longer) was sent free of charge.
In February 2016 I bought a used Class A Motorhome with came with a Roadmaster Falcon Tow Bar. After a couple of trips around the country in my motorhome, I quickly realized why the majority of motorhomes I saw had a vehicle in tow. I searched for a decent tow vehicle and in June purchased a 2003 Chevy Tracker. I didn't know anything about Raodmaster or the quality of their products so I started reading reviews from satisfied owners and quickly realized I had a very good tow bar so I researched what I needed to hook it up on my Tracker. I got acquainted with eTrailer when I purchased the Base Plates to attach my Raodmaster Falcon tow bar to my Tracker. Derek at eTrailer was very helpful and took the time ensuring that I had the right parts to use with my used tow bar. The customer service I received was outstanding. I actually received my base plates the next day with free shipping! The installation instructions were clear and concise and I installed the base plates in about 1 hour and was ready to go. I took several trips (about 4,000 miles) with my Tracker in tow behind me and never had any issues. My Falcon Tow Bar I got with my RV is at least 10 years old and I considered buying a new one but I didn't want or need to spend the extra money since there really wasn't anything wrong with it. Then my last trip of the year (end of November) I was about 75 miles away from home running 75 mph (in traffic), when my Tracker (in tow behind me) was rear-ended on the highway. This accident could have been catastrophic but it wasn't. My old Falcon Tow Bar absorbed the majority of the impact! Needless to say, the tow bar was destroyed but the RV and Tracker never let go of each other. After settling up with the insurance company and fixing my Tracker, when it came time to buy a new tow bar, the Roadmaster Falcon II and eTrailer was a no-brainer. In my opinion, the quality of the Roadmaster product saved lives last November!

Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain Tow Bar w/ LED Lights - Non-Binding - RV Mount - 8,000 lbs
When I called etrailer with my concerns about purchasing a tow bar to flat tow my Grand Cherokee. I did not have a brand in mind other that what I read about in magazines. I was helped in making a decision on purchasing a RoadMaster tow bar along with all the electrical wiring needed to do the job. Everything came as described and was told if I had any problems what so ever to call for help. None needed but was good to hear knowing i had back up. I have used this tow bar and hook ups for around 10 or so camping trips. Mostly from Maryland to Myrtle Beach SC. No problems what so ever. I highly recommend etrailer and the RoadMaster lighted tow bar, wiring and bracket for my Car.
The tow bar works great, But the breakaway cables didn't hold when my drop hitch broke, both cables sheared leaving my Jeep on the side of the road, luckily the emergency breakaway switch activated and it came to a stop. I think the cable needs to be stronger to hold a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4XE.

Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar - Non-Binding - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs
Awesome hitch! Fills up easily and nicely. Easy to operate and not terribly heavy to handle if you need to store it.
Having used the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain tow bar for over a year to tow a Kia Soul with our class A coach, I have nothing but good things to say about it. The tow bar is extremely easy to attach to the towed vehicle. Get close and the arms will connect, pull ahead and the arms lock into tow position. The cable management tubes on the side of the arms keep all electrical and safety cables organized and tangle free. The tow bar quickly folds and stores on the rear of the coach when not in use. Fit, finish, and construction is excellent. Instructions for set-up, use and maintenance are clear and complete. The reviews and videos provided by e trailer certainly helped with the decision to go with this particular tow bar, along with their great selection, price, and delivery. Thanks e trailer!

Roadmaster Sterling All-Terrain Tow Bar - Non-Binding - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 8,000 lbs
Unfortunately first set was defective from Roadmaster. Etrailer sent another set and return label which installed correctly, eTrailer was great to work with.
Great product. Everything works well....it's solid, durable and well built. The only complaint I have is the two plated bolts that hold on the tow vehicle knuckles are rusting and look terrible. I'm going to have to paint them I guess.

Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All-Terrain Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 10,000 lbs
Easy to hook up our toad ( Jeep ). I can connect or disconnect in about 2 minutes all while standing. Stays right behind our RV and you only know its back there when you look in the rear view mirror. I would buy this again.
Great tow bar system for towing my Toyota Tundra behind my motor coach. Too bad the baseplate I purchased required me to add a 6 inch drop receiver and causes a rub condition on rising/falling surfaces.

etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate - RV Mount - 10,500 lbs
First, this bar is extremely heavy, which makes transporting and maneuvering cumbersome and difficult. Secondly, I had issues with this unit from the get-go. I did not receive the correct bolts to attach the Roadmaster clevis to the arm ends. The instructions clearly state that a clevis bolt was to be installed with the XHD unit, but it was not in the hardware bag. I had to call customer service (which was so/so, almost like the person didn't believe me) and had the bolts sent to me. I received the bolts but long story short, they were too short. They did not come out of the bottom of the locknut and any attempt to torque them to the point they did protrude, caused the forks of the clevis to bend, which is too much stress on such an important piece. I did not feel it was safe to either have the bolts not protrude, or force them to protrude. Then came the days-long process of trying to rectify the situation. I called customer service and attempted to explain the problem to the rep. She didn't really want to hear my problem and I was quickly rushed off the phone and directed to call Roadmaster for support, which I did. Roadmaster, of course, has nothing to do with this bar, or problem (pictures were sent to RM) and I was directed to call eTrailer back. I spoke to another person and she was a little more helpful. However, during our "conversation," I could hardly get a word in (I was spoken over and interrupted constantly.) I was told that #1.) the first person I talked to had no idea what she was talking about #2.) Demco manufactures these parts, not Roadmaster, #3.) Essentially the correct length bolts don't exist in the parts catalog. At this point I am starting to get upset with my experience and just wanted a tow bar that worked. I was convinced to but a Roadmaster branded tow bar to avoid any more issues (Blackhawk All Terrain) which I found to be strange, I figured the margin on the eTrailer branded products would be higher, but I digress. Since there is no exchange program with eTrailer, I had to purchase the Blackhawk outright. I was given a UPS label to send the XHD back, but I had to wait to receive the Blackhawk to reuse the box, which is not a huge deal, a minor inconvenience at this point. As of today (4/26/24) I am still waiting for a refund on this unit which I was assured it would be on it's way once the tracking number showed that it was picked up by UPS, but this is not the case. In conclusion, the XHD seemed like it would be a decent product if they can get the hardware right (at least for the Roadmaster system) it's just heavier than most tow bars I have had experience with. eTrailer.com customer service can also use some work, I was not happy with the service after the sale I received. Oh, and the final kick in the tail, the Blackhawk does not come with safety cables. If this were my company, I would have thrown those in for the inconvenience, but I was offered nothing for the trouble this has caused, no discount on the Blackhawk, cables or anything. I will do all I can to avoid buying from etrailer again and will direct others to the same.
