Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
I purchased this rack for our 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid. I have had other racks for other cars in the past when I used to ride a lot and those were made by Thule and were "roof top" style racks. I can honestly say the the quality of the Swagman XC2 meets or exceeds the that of the Thule upon first examination. This rack is heavy duty and well thought out. A coupe of the main things I was worried about are not a problem at all! My biggest worry is the that the bikes would be sticking up or out into the wind stream messing up the aerodynamics. The other, is I thought the pedals would not clear the bumper. Even with the crank facing down the pedals are still a good 2 inches from the bumper. So, there is no chance of damage to the car from the pedals or crank. Also, I can lower the seat posts on both bikes and bring them way in so they are completely behind the car for long distance journeys. I just set it up regularly for the sake of the photos. Here are some other things, I like about the rack: 1. It is easy to install and remove with tools (you can bolt it on). 2. It is difficult to steal because you can bolt it on. I cannot be easily and quickly stolen. 3. The bikes come on and off the rack very easy. They can literally be removed in seconds. 4. It is very sturdy/solid and does not wobble like some other ones I have owned in the past. 5. The bikes are VERY secure when they are clamped on. 6. The rack is low, so the bikes are not sticking up in the wind stream. 7. The bikes can be brought in behind the car if needed for better aerodynamics by lowering the seat posts. 8. Pedals don't interfere with bumper or trunk. 9. It folds up and can be stored in the trunk. 10. The trunk opens with out interference with the rack in the "up position" and still attached to the car.
Just installed my bike rack to the hitch, both purchased from etrailer.com. I'm very pleased with the excellent customer service, quality product and great price!

Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
I just received the rack (a day earlier than expected) and put it together myself with no trouble whatsoever (on my living room floor). As I worked with the parts and pieces, I was really impressed with their QUALITY and sturdiness. Whoever designed this rack knew what he/she was doing. I haven't attached the Swagman XTC 2 platform rack to my 2012 Toyota Camry yet as northern Michigan is in the middle of a lot of rain. When I get the rack and my bikes on the car, I will continue with my review. I look forward to not having to hoist my bikes up in the air and use a LOT of bungee cords to keep wheels from spinning and handlebars from turning back and forth. By the way, the only tool of my own that I needed to put the rack together was a small Phillips screwdriver. Both of the Allen Wrenches that I needed are now supplied with the rack. The directions are clear, and they've already done most of the work for the purchaser. All of the parts were well protected for shipping. I can't wait for the rain to stop and to put this rack on my car! By the way, I'm a female grandmother, so if I can get it together, so can you!
The Swagman XTC-2 two bike rack works well with the model 36540 Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4" on my 2017 Toyota Camry LE. The XTC-2 appears to be a really nice rack although I only have one outing under my belt. The rack is a good combination of sturdiness without getting ridiculously beefy and heavy. My only gripe is it's not clear if the rack can be easily locked to the hitch. Great package delivery from Etrailer.com. The online videos and reviews were very helpful in making my selection.

Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
We love the folding abilities on this rack. Holds our 3 bikes steady and snug, but yet, with enough room in between them for an easy grasp when loading and unloading. My husband said it was an easy installation, and I have no problem loading and unloading the bikes by myself, I'm 5'2"! We are using it on the back of my brothers Land Rover until we get our hitch installed on our Toyota Camry which we are also buying from etrailer.com. Wonderful customer service and VERY good at communication through email until your item arrives!
Bought for my Toyota Camry, very happy. It also came with and adapter so it could be used on another sized trailer hitch. It'll now go on our other vehicle as well which I'm very pleased about. My only wish is that when on insert to the hitch you have to use a screw to secure it as appossed to a pin clip. Once rack is attached to your vehicle you must use a tool to detach it. I'd like to easily be able to take it on and off so I don't have to constantly be driving around with the rack on my car. Other than that it's sturdy, easy to set up and mount bikes to.

Curt 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting
Exactly what I orfered and appears to be a quality bike rack and a loewer brice than some of the other well-know manufactureres.
I had a 1 1/4" hitch installed on my 2016 toyota camry (the only size offered on the camry). I was very pleased with the ride. I expected to hear alot of noise like experienced when towing a trailer, but I heard almost nothing accept when going over speed bumps. I had to extend the tire supports to their widest position because having mountain bikes with a step through angled bar, they were more secure the closer i could get the upper and lower support arms to the seat post. The bikes were mounted in opposite directions and only stuck out maybe 6 inches or so. One locking barrel on the lower support arm was malfunctioning and gave me trouble but i called etrailer and they sent a replacement as soon as they were in stock. It comes with a anti rattle hitch pin but I highly recommend purchasing an anti rattle hitch pin with a lock on the end instead of just a clip for more security when unattended. After a few times mounting the bikes and figuring out the best way they should be positioned (pedals positions, direction of bike, and that my wife's smaller bike fit better going on first with my larger bike on the outside) I can mount the rack and bikes and be ready to go in just 5 minutes. (70 pounds on a torque wrench recommended for the hitch pin) I am overall pleased with my purchase i would recommend this product.

Everything worked out fine!

Swagman Chinook Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
In general, it is pretty good. a solid product. Only complaint I have is that the height of two hooks to hold bikes are very different, it would be hard to make them hook on two bikes with similar height. If you encounter this situation, what I do is to hook one bike and use rope or strap on another one.
The Swagman Chinook 2 bike rack is exactly what I was looking for. I assembled it from the directions and test fit my bike. I know I am going to be very happy with this bike rack.

Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
Stable and well built bike rack. Got this rack and the Draw-tite hitch for a 2015 Camry XSE. I needed the s bend in the shank to clear my driveway apron. The back bottom of hitch is normally 9.5 inches off the ground, 8 inches with the hitch and 4 bikes (about 140 lbs). With 3 people in the car the clearance on my apron is less then 2 inches and it doesn't hit when all 4 are aboard. With the arms folded you can open and close the trunk, but when arms are up the trunk is blocked. This is the reason I knock it down one star. The cheapest thule looks like it is the reverse blocking with arms down, I wish the swagman was that way since it is way easier to tilt the rack with out the bikes. It is hard to get the some bikes over the large triangular cradles, but was able to do it for even my daughters small bike (one side is only on top of the cradle). The main problem with the cradles is that the attachment points for the straps are very flexible, which makes it hard to attach the straps, you end up having to bend the cradle which is hard when bikes are in the way. There is little movement side to side and up and down. The hitch is a tighter fit on the sides then top and bottom to hitch (even with bolt tightened down hard). Overall a very good rack. Customer service was excellent at answering my questions when I was placing the order. Thanks
Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2012 Toyota Camry
Ryan: How's it going Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2012 Toyota Camry, we're here to be taking a look at the Thule Helium Pro 2 Bike Rack. Now, this rack does hold up to a total of two bikes, however, if you're looking to carry more, there's also a three bike version available as well. Now, one of the best parts about this rack is that it's made from aluminum. So not only is it going to be extremely lightweight and easy to handle, but we're not going to have to worry about any rust or corrosion issues either. A really common question we get in regards to these hitch mounted bike racks, is if you're still going to be able to have full access to your trunk or this one on the back of the Camry, even in the upright position, we're still going to have no problem opening up our trunk and getting all of our stuff in and out. Now, if he has something really large or awkward that you're trying to put in or take out, you can still free up some space because this does fold down, and if you come down here and pull up on this lever, and swing it out of the way, and now we shouldn't have any issues at all getting all of our stuff in and out.
Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2012 Toyota Camry
Today on our 2012 Toyota Camry, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Vertex 4 bike rack, part number TH9029XT. As you can see we already have a bike installed on our rack so you can get an idea of what it'll look like once you have yours up there. So we've got three straps that will attach the bike to a rack, two up top and then one that will go round the down tube, and that will be our anti-sway strap, which keeps most of the movement of the bike from going back and forth, or front to back. We'll go ahead and pull those off, they're just a pliable rubber strap. Once you get those undone just walk your bike off. With that out of the way, we'll reattach our straps so that they are not flying around as we're going down on the road.
SportRack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2012 Toyota Camry
Today, on our 2012 Toyota Camry, we're going to be taking a look at the SportRack 3-bike rack part number SR2403. There will be three straps: two on the top tube and then one on the bottom tube here. That'll be your anti-sway strap. So I'll take these two off. That anti-sway strap is nice because it'll prevent your bike from swinging too much back to front so it won't knock into your other bikes or into the back of your vehicle. So just undo those and take our bike off.
Saris Axis Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2012 Toyota Camry

Note, as you can see, we already have a bike installed on a rack, so you can get an idea of what it would look like with your bike. So, we're going to look at how our bike is attached to the rack, first. We have these two straps, up top, and you just release these by pressing down on the lever, there, and pushing the strap out. We'll do the same thing on this side, and then we'll have a third strap, here, on the down-tube of our bike. This acts as an anti-sway strap that limits the movement of our bike, front to back.
