20x59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs
You guys/gals are the best!! First of all amazing prices! Second, it was delivered when it said it was going be delivered. Third awesome customer service! I was putting it together and I over tighten one of the small bolts and broke in half. I emailed them to see how I can get an extra one. 10 minutes later Becky calls me and tells me that it's on it's way at no charge. I would give this overall experience 6 stars if possible. Once again, Thanks Becky for the quick follow up.
Fast service thanks

19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - Folding - 500 lbs
Great product once assembly is complete. Very light weight. I can easily lift the entire carrier with one arm. I'm not sure how it will hold 500lbs though because it feel so light...but Curt says it does so I will give it a try in a few weeks. The carrier wobbles just a little bit in the receiver but not enough to cause any concern or disappointment with the overall product. Two negatives though: 1. Assembly was easy but the instructions were completely crappy. If your not able to read a picture or have trouble following vague directions you may take a little longer to get this thing put together. 2. I can not fold the carrier all the way up. It hits my bumper. I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee and need about 1/4 inch more clearance to get the carrier up and in the locked position. I will have to buy an extender to use this feature. As with other stuff from etrailer, it came fast. There werent any holes in the box (unlike my trailer hitch) and the product was in great shape. Good customer service and the carrier got here a day earlier than scheduled.
One year later..... Love it! I am so glad that I opted to stay away from the steel. This unit is so much lighter. I keep it stored overhead in my garage and it has all the carrying capacity of the steel ones that I've had in the past.

23x59 Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Great product, this is my second one. I use it for hauling deer during archery season and it fits them well. Unfortunately this package arrived open and the bag holding all the nuts and bolts was open and all the hardware was rolling around loose in the box. Maybe I ended up with a package that someone else returned? I haven't put it together yet, but hoping everything I need is still there.
Easy to assemble and install. Put it on a 2014 jeep grand Cherokee, installed two bikes and had room for bags too. Important lesson, passenger rear is where the tail pipe is, anything in that corner could melt. Lost a strap and had to throw away a carryon bag. I will be installing a small shield or deflector on the rack to eliminate this from happening again. Having the exterior cargo space was very useful and well worth the purchase.

Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier for 2" Hitches - With Ramp - 77" Long - 500 lbs
I used this rack to pick up a new dirt bike (~250 lbs dry weight) that was 4 hour drive from my house. I used a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and the bike loaded very easily when idled up onto the rack in 1st gear while walking beside it. Tons of clearance between the bike and the rear of the vehicle so no concerns there. The tie-down points work really well and the bike seemed very stable. I added a tensioning device to keep the rack from wobbling in the receiver, which I would recommend. Overall, I'm very satisfied, especially considering the great price on this rack. To provide a complete review, I will point out some things that I think could be improved: (1) Since the main tray is divided into two sections, it sags into a sort of frown shape after the bike is on for some time. This is due to the slop in the mounting holes where the support straps attach. This could be done better. (2) At least when the rack is empty, the ramp sort of clatters around in it's mount because there is quite a bit of play. I just threw the ramp inside my vehicle as it is pretty small.
I can't say I'm entirely happy with my purchase. The instructions were more confusing than helpful. Note in "instruction.jpg" photo of STEP 1 that the text says to put the 8 small bolts in from the inside first, but the drawing clearly shows them as going in from the outside. The last step says to place the ramp onto the receiver as shown.... glad I didn't throw away the box because there is no drawing that shows ramp installation. Actually, the photo on the box was more helpful than any of the instructions. Also, I need to make a trip to the hardware store to buy longer medium bolts because the ones that came with the carrier were not long enough to fully engage the self locking feature of the nylon lock nuts. At a minimum a couple of threads should protrude beyond the nylon. See photo "nut.jpg". The bolt threads don't reach the end of the nylon, so the self locking feature is not fully engaged. I did tighten the nut, but that was as far as it would go. I think once I get back from the hardware store with the new medium bolts and after I reverse the 8 small bolts (I followed the drawing and not the text of the instructions), I'll be OK with the carrier.

17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
The product assembled with no issues and the bolts lined up with the pre-drilled holes fairly well. I tried it on our RV travel trailer (1 & 1/4 inch hitch) and it is very tight. However, on a 2 inch Jeep Grand Cherokee hitch it wobbles appreciably. The wiggle at the hitch is about 1/8 inch and at the end of the carrier a full inch. I suspect it will do better with a sleeve insert in the 2 inch hitch that adapts a 1 & 1/4 carrier but I have not tried that yet. The adapter that comes with the stinger to adapt to 2 inches is plastic does cover the whole length and that is probably why it wobbles.
Works as advertised. I wish it was a true 2" tho. The adapter is kind of flimsy and the basket wobbles.
Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Today on our 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee we're doing a test fit of the CURT 20 by 48 cargo carrier. That part number is C18110. Now this is designed to work with both 1-1/4" and 2" hitches and has a 300 pound weight capacity. Although it does have a weight capacity, it is very lightweight so it's easy to insert and take out of your hitch. First thing we're going to do is take a few measurements here. Starting off with our ground clearance, we're going to have about 17-3/4". Now that is because we have a raised shank in back which is going to lift our carrier even higher than our hitch.

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee C18151
Today, on our 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're test fitting the Curt 20 by 60 Folding Cargo Carrier. This cargo carrier will carry up to 500 pounds and it's been designed for use in 2 inch hitches. Part number on it is C18151. You'll see the raised rail all the way around the outside, gives us good front-to-back and side-to-side stability for our gear once loaded up. It's going to be about 5 1/2 inches high. You'll see here, it gives us a lot of nice connection points all the way around there so we can get that gear strapped down securely. The floor of the carrier is going to be a smaller size expanded steel and it'll have areas for moisture, dirt and stuff like that to fall down and through, but it's not so large of an opening that we'll have to worry about smaller stuff. The back side of our carrier, we're going to have about 15 3/4 of an inch worth of ground clearance.
Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee C18150
Today on our 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're doing a test fit on the Curt 20 by 60 cargo carrier. This carrier's been designed for use in 2-inch hitches, and it'll support 500 pounds. The part number on it is C18150. Say, here at the very back, we're going to have about 18 inches' worth of ground clearance. This carrier has a rise in the shank here. It helps to give us better ground clearance here in the back, which is nice if you're going to do any kind of off-road stuff or things like that. You got a raised rail all the way around the outside here.
What our customers are saying:
"We got the cargo bag and used it on the DrawTite cargo rack with no rails and took the whole load up and over the Smokey Mountains! What a fabulous product!"
