24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Lighting fast delivery on all their products, professional and easy to communicate with. Simple installation.
Love it. It was damaged when I received it. I reported it but got no response from you guys so customer service was lacking. The piece of equipment is great though. I also need some step ups for my new truck so I will be looking again soon. Thanks for asking,

19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - Folding - 500 lbs
This package came as expected but just a word of warning to everyone so you know what will be arriving. It comes in a large box that weighs over 70 pounds and comes unassembled and without tools. Once I got it put together and everything tightened, there’s still a gap between the two halves that doesn’t affect the use, but aesthetically leaves more to be desired. Construction is very sturdy and doesn’t wobble unless you stand on it and shift your weight from one leg to another. I imagine if you distribute weight properly there won’t be any issues. I plan on using this for camping trips as a means of storing extra large items like coolers and tents.
The cargo carrier itself is actually fine, and fits well with my '99 Tacoma, but it shipped without the hardware (which is clearly supposed to be included) so I couldn't assemble it. That's probably the manufacturer Curt's fault (though etrailer did open the Curt box to add one other small item to my order), but it took 17 days for them to get me the hardware shipped separately, which meant that I had to go and spend $30 of my own on the hardware because my big trip was starting and I couldn't wait any longer.

32x48 Reese Solo Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 400 lbs
I received the package in a pretty rough exterior condition but everything was fine inside. The previous comments about having to cut away the expanded metal flooring in order to install the carriage bolts wasn't true in my case. Apparently, this quality control issue has been addressed by the manufacturer. Assembly went well and wasn't complicated. A different carriage bolt with a longer square shoulder should be used. The shoulder doesn't grip too well to the square cutout in the frame and even while pressing firmly on the head of the bolt, it wanted to turn as I was tightening the nut. All in all, it seems to be a solid product and I look forward to using it.

24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Excellent product and easy to assemble. It was faster than all the local or the other online choices. I have shopped etrailer twice and very satisfied both times.
Yery well constructed product, easy to assemble. I felt the grating could have been more robust and therefore, I am giving it 4 star rating.

Solid construction. We were able to tote all of our luggage and keep it dry on our way from Los Angeles to Tacoma.

Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier for 2" Hitches - With Ramp - 77" Long - 500 lbs
I can't say I'm entirely happy with my purchase. The instructions were more confusing than helpful. Note in "instruction.jpg" photo of STEP 1 that the text says to put the 8 small bolts in from the inside first, but the drawing clearly shows them as going in from the outside. The last step says to place the ramp onto the receiver as shown.... glad I didn't throw away the box because there is no drawing that shows ramp installation. Actually, the photo on the box was more helpful than any of the instructions. Also, I need to make a trip to the hardware store to buy longer medium bolts because the ones that came with the carrier were not long enough to fully engage the self locking feature of the nylon lock nuts. At a minimum a couple of threads should protrude beyond the nylon. See photo "nut.jpg". The bolt threads don't reach the end of the nylon, so the self locking feature is not fully engaged. I did tighten the nut, but that was as far as it would go. I think once I get back from the hardware store with the new medium bolts and after I reverse the 8 small bolts (I followed the drawing and not the text of the instructions), I'll be OK with the carrier.
"Instantly Get Rid of Wobble and Upgrade With Lights" This is not a 5 because ramp should be longer & there should be some type stabilizer to temporary hold bike while strapping down, I'd pay more for those upgrades. The wobble can instantly be solved by hooking Tie-Straps closest to vehicle directly to the receiver where you hook your chains, rather than hooking them to the provided holes on carrier itself. You of course use the provided strap holes ones on the opposite side. When strapped down as stated, the carrier now becomes one with the vehicle & @ 80mph there is no wobble. (*TIP: Put ramp back in its place before strapping down or else it won't fit with the strap hooks in the way.) I upgraded mine with lights for both safety reasons & not needing the Police any reason to pull me over. It was very simple and cost me nothing but time & maybe $50. I recommend this product whole heartedly.

23x59 Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Carrier and box will be moved to hitch on 209 Solitude Rv to provide extra cargo carrying ability
A good size and very strong. I like the fact that it has a grated bottom, as opposed to a few bars like many of its competitors. There are many holes and notches present for any customization desired. Also makes for a great chair to relax. I also ordered the anti-rattle pin so as to fasten this tightly to the hitch. IMO that should be included with any of these trailer-hitch-Mount accessories.

Yakima EXO Swing Away Storage System w/ 2 Enclosed Cargo Carriers - 2" Hitches
Very interesting! I am pleased with this purchase. All of this equipment is well built and was designed with ease of use and security in mind. The hitch part is surprisingly pretty heavy, but once it is connected this weight gives the hitch a sturdy feel. The lockers are pretty big and the material though light weight feels like it will hold up to some rough miles and a few bruises. It is so nice to have this much dry secure and easy to access storage outside of our vehicle. Customer service was excellent and delivery times were surprisingly short.
Very easy to install. Total installation time (not counting taking photos and opening boxes) was approximately 15 minutes. The only issue I encountered was the left handle on the lower rack had a broken piece inside the locking pin assembly. Other than that, everything was quick and smooth for a single person job. This will greatly assist my business by allowing more room for passenger comfort on long trips to and from airports with a large party. Looking forward to putting this to use.

24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Tilting - Folding - 500 lbs
Love the carrier but hitch pin is too short for my 2020 Tacoma TRD Pro. Anxious to find a longer pin and actually use the carrier.
Super disappointed in this etrailer purchase. The product came in a large box that was fully intact and not damaged. The actual cargo basket was meticulously wrapped and appeared to be brand new as expected. The other components however, like the arm, were in boxes that were smashed, old, worn, and had multiple layers of old tape. The arm itself was scratched and banged up, even rusty in spots. Clearly it was used or had been a returned item. If I wanted a dented, gouged, and rusty Cargo Carrier I would have purchased one used, for half the price. This is not the quality I expect from etrailer.. I have purchased many racks and other items from this company and usually the quality is outstanding. This time they dropped the ball. I have since read other reviews and it is apparent that this is not an isolated incident. I'd have sent it back if it wasn't so damn heavy and awkward to lug around.
What our customers are saying:
"We got the cargo bag and used it on the DrawTite cargo rack with no rails and took the whole load up and over the Smokey Mountains! What a fabulous product!"
