K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors - Snap On - Driver and Passenger Side
The KS81600 (pair) snap-on mirrors mounted quickly and fit snug and beautifully to my 1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Series with contoured mirrors, and did not impede the existing Ford mirrors whatsoever. However, I have a problem with the focal distance of the passenger side KS81600 mirror that I received. See photos. It's magnification is quite different from the truck mirror, and shows only a small, magnified area of the distant background. In contrast, the KS81600 driver side mirror has a similar focal distance as the Ford driver side mirror, offering more of a long and broader view. I could live with the driver side view, but not the passenger side. I'm unsure if this difference is intentional or a product error/mis-match. I've contacted the eTrailer experts on the matter. Alternately, I also ordered a pair of the KS3891 "clip-on" mirrors, with the ratchet system. While I think this product offers a much broader view on both sides of the vehicle, they are not near as easy to put on as the KS81600, never quite go on in exactly the same position, and are not a perfect fit to my contoured Ford mirrors on the passenger side. In addition, the thicker clamps of the KS3891 make contact with the Ford mirror glass and impede my ability to fully adjust them. I will post a separate review of them. The KS81600 is a much cleaner, easier product to install and secure. Unfortunately, the focal distance issue is a deal killer for me, and I'll probably keep the KS3891 which provide a broader view on both sides of my rig.
2001 F-150 SuperCrew, Lariat edition with turn signals incorporated into exterior mirrors. The mirrors arrived undamaged within four days. Installed both mirrors in under three minutes and they fit perfectly, with no issues concerning the turn signals, (this was my concern). Hauled the trailer camping last weekend and although the extended mirror is slightly on the short-side, it was a huge improvement over the stock F-150 mirrors and I was able to see the traffic behind me. The mirror extensions had very little to no vibration. Great product at a great price. The video on the site showing the mirrors being fitted to the 2000 Ford Expedition is what prompted me to purchase since they are the same mirrors used on the F-150 at that time.

Longview Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver and Passenger Side
We have used these mirrors for several trips. They are very easy to install and take off. Provide a very good view to back of Trailer. Price was well worth the Safety Factor!
It was a very simple installation. Alot better fit than what I was expecting. Just drove 400 miles with them and no problems. Thank you!!

Quick delivery and easy tracing. Boxed extremely well and the add on trailer mirrors were in perfect condition.
Easier to install than I expected. Minimal vibration with much-improved rearward visibilty. Easyto remove also. Does scuff the fixed mirror but controllable with wax.

Good mirrors for towing 28 ft travel trailer... Only got 3 star as first trip went we went to leave on thursday 5-25 for our first trip and went to put on and the passanger mirror was missing the screw to hold it on so i had to zip tie it on...on tuesday i will be calling to see about getting a replacement screw for next trip and will see how customer service is...
The towing mirrors are an exact fit. I was going to only use them when I towed my trailer but decided to keep them on permanently. They look Really good.

I would like it to be extendable a bit further on the passenger side. The driver's side is fine though. The passenger side does not let one see far enough away from the side of the trailer. All in all, I like it better than drilling holes into the doors of my pickup to install huge mirrors. These look way better and are sufficient.
Not long after putting on the truck, the mirror fell off

Excellent fit and plenty of foam to protect the OEM mirrors. The only part I didn’t like was that the small mirrors, while adjustable, seems to slowly adjust after several hours of driving. Not dramatically, but enough they needed readjusted. Overall a great product for the price.
Fit perfect an only takes a few minutes to install. Very happy with purchase.

We haven't used them yet while driving the RV, but the fit is perfect! Very happy with these extenders
Really loved my cipa mirrors on my Chevy. The dodge mirrors are tight if you use the right thickness wedge. Problem I have is that if your backing up and want to pan the factory mirror down for rocks or stumps the overhanging lip of the cipa mirror stopes the factory mirror. Will have to grind some off that lip for factory mirrors tilt up or down to clear for the tilt of factory mirror.

Mirrors are still on my truck and working great. I had to modify the mounting holes, by drilling new ones two inches in from the existing holes. I am using the mirrors on a 2006 Ford F-150XL pickup.

They were delivered expeditiously, went right on as per the instructions and they are fully adjustable so I can now see both sides of the trailer when straight. It is a 8.5 foot wide enclosed car trailer. All good here.
Unbelievably fast shipping and exactly what i was looking for with out spending 500 bucks on factory tow mirrors this is a great product

I like these but I would have given them 4.5 stars if possible and I'll explain below. The shipping was fast. They arrived in good shape. Right out of the box the construction didn't inspire confidence, these are lightweight. They slide on horizontally to the OEM mirror & fit snuggly, then a wedge is tightened in place between the tow mirror and the OEM mirror to prevent the tow mirror from sliding back off. The tow mirrors are easy to install and from a short distance look better than some of the other "clamp-on" styles. A plus! I have tried these a couple of times at speeds of up to 80mph (we can do that in Idaho), and yes, I don't plan to tow a trailer that fast but a strong headwind would easily exceed an 80 or 90mph effective speed. (we get that in Idaho too) During the tests they performed well, never loosened, no noticeable vibrations in the view. I was impressed. Overall, I would buy these again and recommend to a friend.
I had the mirrors for about four months and one of the mirrors just fell off was not happy. Obviously it shattered on the ground. The adhesive is very cheap on them called customer service. They sent me out a new one, but was told this happens quite often with those. I think the adhesive Hass to be better.

CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver Side and Passenger Side
The mirrors fit my 1997 Ford F250 HD perfectly. The threaded clips and threaded nob are cheap. The plastic threads that tighten the mirror to the vehicle are easily damaged. Mirrors would be better if the clips were made better. Giving 4 stars based on the flimsy clips.
The concept is great, however the connection to the mirror has a plastic screw, not the ones shown here in the picture which look to be metal. I have not even used the mirrors and first time removing them, the plastic screw (why??) breaks.

Great looking design, unfortunately the mirrors would not fit my expedition. I knew they were designed for the F150 when I ordered them, so no false advertising. I just took a chance. I am sure in the correct application they will work great and certainly much better than the "strap on" style of towing mirrors.
The right passenger mirror will not adjust easily and the mirror is popped out of its bracket.

Extension towing mirrors are great, can now see all the way back towing my 35' camper. Great product, easy install. Holds up great at 70mph.

These work great on my 2001 Mazda truck. I use them when towing my 17 travel trailer. I’ve tried various clip-on, suction cup, and strap-on extension mirrors. Some time or another, these mirrors will suddenly give and fall off. I don’t have to worry about that with these Longview mirrors. Wish I had found these years ago.

Mirrors are easy to take on and off and feel very secure. Which makes them work very well for towing my camp trailer during the summer. i do question longevity of these mirrors because attachment is based on tension of a plastic threaded bolt.

Just installed them and tried. It would be great if they did not vibrate that much; unfortunately they do; so we will have to find a way to improve it.
