Very solid. I like the cushion feature to prevent damage to my vehicle.
Makes for a great hard-core dirt road set up with a 3000 pound trailer, in conjunction with the Curt rocker ball, Towing with an F150 over many miles of washboards, down through washes where the road was washed out, etc. Really makes for a gentler set up on the equipment in the trailer and the truck. The product is what I wanted at a good price, was not real tight fit into the receiver. but for the light towing I do, it is adequate.
Excellent product! With the three different ball sizes, this tri-ball mount gives you a lot of flexibility. Gone are the days of having several different ball mounts to fit different tongues. High quality construction makes this an excellent investment.

Curt Multi-Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - Solid, Black Powder Coated Shank - Black Balls
Functionally, this hitch has been great with no issues to date. Aesthetically, the black color did quickly fade to a gray color within a couple of months. Ball surface also presented rust after very minimal use. That being said, I did buy a hitch to tow trailers, not look pretty.
Weights a ton. Seems very strong...10,000 pounds using the 2 5/16s balls. Good paint.

I use this hitch when I pull my horse trailer to make the stop/start transitions as smooth as possible for the horses in the back. It works great. I also love that its a category IV hitch. Really heavy duty. My truck sits pretty high, and the amount of drop - 8" is perfect. I never worry about hitch failure travelling with my horses - they're a heavy load, and any failure would be a disaster. E Trailer provided excellent service, and their shipping to Canada was prompt and hassle free. Way to go guys, keep up the great work!

Curt Multi-Ball Mount w/ Tow Hook for 2" Hitches
Cool to follow up on your product. The multi-ball works as it should. I bought it since I didn't know if the trailer I would get would be 2" or 2 1/4. I tow a 4,000 # trailer/race car with it. It's a heavy piece to carry around, but I feel that it will last a good many years. I did make a spacer to cram into the receiver, so the hitch doesn't rattle as much. Otherwise it's great. Tim E.
