Hey Bob! The Dometic 38362 is an older model of the Dometic "Large" furnace. The current version of the LP/Natural gas large furnace is the DFLA40211/9108923372 which is not something we carry at this time. The only thing we carry are the following propane only versions of the furnace:
-Dometic RV Furnace - Propane - Automatic Pilot - 12V DC - 40,000 Btu - Doorless # DMC72ZR
-Replacement Dometic RV Furnace - Propane - Automatic Pilot - 12V DC - 40,000 Btu # DMC82ZR

Hey Greg, yes our Dometic RV Furnace part # DMC86RR is our lowest BTU rated RV furnace. Thankfully nearly all RV furnaces are made to the same size which makes swapping them easier.
For a thermostat we have the Dometic Digital part # DMC84RR which is a furnace only style thermostat that would work great. view full answer...
Hey Clyde, thanks for reaching out!
None of the furnaces we carry, are a dual stage. I confirmed this with my contact at Dometic.
The Dometic RV Furnace # DMC64RR has the right Btu rating - what is it about the dual stage that has you looking for a furnace with that feature? view full answer...
Atwood AC units like the Air Command Rooftop RV Air Conditioner # AT15027-22 can easily be installed on RV that has a furnace. The thermostat of this AC unit can't be wired to a furnace though. But if you have your separate furnace thermostat set to come on at a desired temperature it will work fine with this. view full answer...
Hi Charles,
From what I could find, your DFMD35131 furnace is a 35,000 Btu that is 16-1/2" wide, 7" tall, and 20" deep. We do have a Dometic furnace that is the exact same size, but a 30,000 Btu unit, the Dometic RV Furnace # DMC38RR.
Or, if you have a bit of extra space and want to go to 40,000 Btu there is the 16-1/2" wide, 9" tall, and 20" deep Dometic RV Furnace # DMC48RR. view full answer...
Hey Don, the Dometic Furnace part # DMC38RR is a standard size RV furnace so it would work great to replace what you have. You can still measure what you have to be sure but we don't have a way to look up what furnace your RV would have. This measures 20" deep x 7" tall x 16-1/2" wide. What furnace do you have now? view full answer...
I would be happy to help!
The brown and white wire of the Air Distribution Box w/ Wall-Mounted Thermostat for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners # ACRG15 gets connected to the thermostat wire on your furnace as you can see in the included diagram provided by Advent Air.
I included a video of the # ACRG15 for you to take a look at. view full answer...
In order to hook up your furnace to the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner with Air Distribution Box and Wall Thermostat part # ADV64FR, you simply need to attach the THERM wire on your furnace to the brown/white wire on the thermostat. The THERM+ wire on your furnace can then be capped. There are no other connections needed for the thermostat to control the furnace.
Please note, we can't tell you exactly what color wire the THERM and THERM+ circuits are on your furnace so id they are not labeled... view full answer...
I have great news! The Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Carrier Setup w/ Start Capacitor part # ACCAR150 will not effect the current operation of your furnace. It is a direct replacement for what you currently have installed. It will use the same thermostat you currently have which also controls your furnace.
So since the A/C unit doesn't tell the furnace what to do both the A/C unit and your furnace will operate the same way after installing the Advent unit as they did before. view full answer...
Yes, it will Mac. The GE Appliances Deluxe Plus RV AC System w/ Heat Pump item # GE85ZR will work with your existing furnace and can be controlled by the included thermostat.

Hi Harvey; the DFMD35 series (same as your AFMD35121) has been discontinued. This leaves you with two options. You can either downsize to a 30k Btu unit or move up to the 40k unit. The 30k will fit in your existing space but you will have a little less heat.
If you go up to the 40k unit it will probably require enlarging your opening since it is 2" taller. You also need to match door for door or doorless for doorless when choosing the replacement. The 40k units measure 20" deep x 9" tall... view full answer...
The Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner # ACCAR150 will still allow you to use your furnace and your remote. The included wiring kit will allow you to connect this to your existing thermostat so the furnace and remote operation won't be impacted. view full answer...
Yes, it will Lance. The thermostat included with the Advent Air Low Profile RV Air Conditioner System item # ADV65SR will work with your existing furnace. It has 3 settings cooling, furnace, and heat strip.

If you have a separate thermostat for your Suburban Furnace then the Digital Wall-Mounted Thermostat for Air Command Rooftop RV Air Conditioners part # AT15029 will not control this. If you do not have a separate thermostat for your Suburban Furnace and it it wired to the one for your air conditioner then it would control this. Therefore, it all depends on how your trailer is wired. The thermostat wires for the furnace are usually blue so if you have two blue wires ran to the back of the... view full answer...
Yes, you could use heat strips with your A/C as an alternate heating method to a furnace. To be honest, you probably will not get the same heat output as the furnace, but it is something that can be done and is not uncommon.
You can add the Furrion Heat Strip Add-On for Furrion Air Conditioner # FR27PR to each of the A/C's in the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System # FR24FJ. view full answer...
Dip 4 will need to be placed in the "on" position in order for the signal to pass from the controller in your Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner # FR58PR to the furnace. On the single zone controllers the first two dip switches are missing so dip switch two would technically be Dip 4 on the diagram and would control the furnace. You said that you have this on so the next thing to look at would be the wiring.
Is the connection point between the furnace wire and Furnace +/-... view full answer...
Hey Mark! Thanks for the pictures and the information. We do not have a direct replacement for your 8935-HI-ACLC furnace. It does like to be a similar size and capacity of our Dometic RV Furnace item # DMC98RR. You would just need to rewire your RV so you can run a 12v line instead of a 120-AC.

Hello John, thanks for reaching out. According to my research, the Atwood 8525-IV-DCLP is a 25,000 BTU furnace. We do have a 25K BTU unit from Dometic that can be used to replace this, but it would not be a direct replacement. Take a look at the following:
- Dometic RV Furnace - Propane - Automatic Pilot - 12V DC - 25,000 Btu - White Door # DMC58RR
- Dometic RV Furnace - Propane - Automatic Pilot - 12V DC - 25,000 Btu - Black Door # DMC26RR
This furnace measures 20" deep x 7" tall x... view full answer...
The Camco RV Furnace Screen # CAM42141 is not trailer specific, but is instead designed to fit over DuoTherm and Suburban furnace vents that measure 3" in diameter, so you'll want to measure the vent opening in order to determine if this will fit. It's possible that you've got a different brand that also has a 3" vent, so it would likely also work for that as well.
I've also linked our entire selection of these furnace vents that have some different sizes that you might want to check out... view full answer...
