  • Instructions for Replacing Ventline Range Hood Fan Motor
  • In a Ventline RV range hood such as # S0721-20BD-F-1 you will want to remove the grease filter to access the damaged motor to install a replacement like # BVD0278-00 which uses AC power or # BVD0218-00-R which uses DC power. Of course, make sure power is disconnected. We do not have a video showing the process but I was able to obtain from Ventline the written instructions for motor replacement for DC and AC motors. These have been forwarded to you in a separate email.

  • Switch Kit for Kwikee 32 Series Electric Steps
  • Thank you for the purchase! Since your steps are operating backwards, the issue is likely the reverse polarity of the motor. What you should do is try reversing the red and yellow wires to reverse the functions so the steps aren't out. Additionally, the Kwikee 32 Series Electric RV Steps # LC3722615 does not actually come with the switch kit, however; for that you need the Rocker Switch with Door Sensor for Kwikee Electric RV Steps - 250V # LC369311.

  • How To Wire In The Monitor Light For The Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System
  • The monitor light for the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700 would need to be grounded to the chassis of the motorhome. The LED light and audio signal will both have a wire to run down to the chassis and another wire to run over to the towed vehicle to connect to the cold side of the brake light switch. To accomplish this you'll most likely need to extend to wire to run it down to the chassis and then use a ring terminal and self tapping screw to connect the wires...

  • Why Does The Valterra HydroFlush Need To Be Installed On The Top Of The Black Tank
  • The Valterra HydroFlush RV Black Tank Flush System # VAL42RB is recommended to be installed on the top of the tank so it's out of the way of everything and isn't a point that solids could get caught on or in the event that the backflow valve failed it'd be less likely to drain the tank. If you don't have access above the tank and don't want to install an access panel in the floor of the motorhome then you can try installing it higher up on the side of the tank to hopefully prevent either...

If you have a 4-cylinder model of this vehicle, you will need a # RM-76517 instead of a # RM76511, and will need to leave fuse DLIS #32 intact and pull the ABS module fuse located under the hood. Note: due to manufacturing variances, some 4-cylinder models may label the ABS module fuse as #15 or #16. This information is current...

  • Blue Light On Camco RV Power Defender CAM55312 No Longer Illuminating
  • I spoke with my contact at Camco regarding your RV Power Defender Circuit Analyzer # CAM55312. He said that if the blue surge protector light is no longer illuminating on your unit then it has experienced a surge episode (and protected your RV!). This may have happened with your 30 amp home outlet or it could have happened the previous time you used the analyzer at a campsite. Since this particular model provides one-time-event protection, it is no longer able to provide surge protection...

  • Can the eDream Supreme RV Mattress Be Folded In Half
  • The eDream Supreme RV Mattress part # e97FR is very similar to the mattress you would find in a bedroom. The main difference is the dimensions which are geared towards RV use. Therefore, you wouldn't be able to fold the mattress in half just like you wouldn't be able to fold the mattress in your bedroom in half. This is a top of the line RV mattress that gives the perfect mix of support and comfort. In order to fold a mattress in half you'd have to forgo this perfect mix of support and comfort.

  • How Much Contact Should There Be with the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs SSR-130-47
  • In regards to the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs part # SSR-130-47, the amount of contact or engagement will vary by application and we unfortunately cannot inform of this for any one particular application since there are so many variables. That said, typically for the cab and chassis model springs you'll want them to engage just slightly with the weight vehicle. If you have a gap you can fill this with the included spacer until you make contact with the axle. That said, it's okay...

  • Your 2019 Thor Four Winds 24E Motorhome is built on a Ford E-450 chassis so the plug you're going to need will be located behind the storage (coin) compartment above the radio (see attached). If you don't already have a brake controller I highly recommend the Prodigy P3 # 90195 which will connect to that plug using the Adapter # 3034-P.
