We've checked with Kwikee in the past and based on your gear box number of 151320 that indicates the components of your step are no longer available due to age. So what you'd need to do is go with the current version of the Series 38 which is part # LC3723383 for a step replacement. view full answer...
Hey Jerry,
The Furrion Chill Cube Unit # FR99TD would be a solid replacement for your Dometic units you have. In terms of the price Furrion prices their items, I wish I had an explanation as to why, but prices do flucuate day to day. Both options are going to be good replacement systems for your Dometic and run more efficiently.

Hey Jim. What year is your 38 foot Monaco Knight RV? Are you looking for replacement air bags for an existing system or are you wanting a completely new setup?
You can add this information and any other questions you have where it says Reply to Jerred H and I'll be happy to answer them. view full answer...
Hi Joe,
Since you want to replace the control unit also you'll need to get a new AC system and thermostat, and for a complete 13,500 Btu system go with the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - 13,500 Btu - Black # FR35PV or White # FR95PV.
These are really efficient and another thing I like about them is the fact they come with a soft start built-in, so you don't have to get one separately. The advantages of that are it gives the AC a boost in power and then stores it which means... view full answer...
Hello Mike. Yes, the Advent # ACDOM150 can be used to replace the Dometic Duo-Therm, and it will work with the ducted system. There is a heat strip for these units, part # ACMHD that can be added. view full answer...
Hello Mike, thanks for reaching out. It sounds like you have duo-therm (Dometic) AC system since your thermostat says duo-therm. Our best option for replacing this is a Furrion AC unit either # FR42PV for 15K BTU or # FR82PV for 13.5K BTU. These units come with a conversion kit that makes it directly compatible with your duo therm AC system. Meaning you can swap out the rooftop unit only, and all of your ceiling registers and thermostat can stay in place and work the same.

Hey Paul! Your Dometic Duo-Therm is an old R410A unit. Since everyone had to switch to R32 refrigerant due to the 2025 EPA regulations there are no plug and play replacements available. The new units aren't backwards compatible so the only option is complete replacement with a new system.
Assuming you want to keep the heat pump, I recommend the GE Appliances Deluxe Plus RV AC System. You can choose from the following based on color and capacity. You will also need to know if your system... view full answer...
Hey Ken, thanks for all of the information and photos!
I was able to reach out to my contact at Demco with that information, and he said that in order to swap everything out to get brakes on your tow dolly it would end up costing about the same as getting a whole new dolly, so it would make more sense just to go that route instead.
For a simple replacement I recommend the Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes # RM-2050-1, but if you wanted to upgrade to something a bit nicer I recommend... view full answer...
Hello Jeremiah, welcome back! Yes, you can use the Internal Tire Sensor for TireMinder TPMS # TM36FR along with balancing beads inside a tire. They will work together just fine. We have confirmed this with the folks at TireMinder.
We can provide the balancing beads if you are in need. What size tires are you running? view full answer...
Hey Scott. So long as your 2002 Monaco Signature Series motorhome has a straight axle and not the Dana Spicer front axle you'll want the Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer with Mounting Brackets for Class A Motor Homes item # RM-RBK6-RSSA. This setup includes the steering stabilizer and all brackets needed to complete the installation. The brackets will attach to the front axle U-bolts and the tie rod.
Do you know what front axle your class A has? view full answer...
Rather than pulling apart the connectors on the Curt Echo # C79DR you could use the Harness # 20147 to connect to your 4-way wiring and run the additional Charge Line # RM-156-75. Then you would be able to simply plug in a 7-Way # PK11893 or 4/7-Way # HM40975 if you still want to have the 4-way for other connections. view full answer...
Hey Rick,
I definitely get your hesitation on running wiring from the back of your 2001 Roadmaster Monaco, but since you currently only have a 4-Way connector installed we'll have to route wiring at least from your battery back to the wiring connector to power the Curt Echo In-Line # C79DR. There are other brake controller options out there but they either require the 12V power like the Echo In-Line, or they also require routing wiring into the cab of your motorhome so the In-Line will... view full answer...
